Through the Uplay client.

Click on the gear icon in the top right corner. Then select Activate Product. Enter the key. WIN.

Seriously, it's an AWESOME game. Everyone should get it while this deal holds.

I got around to doing it this morning, Dl the client and click the gear icon in top right.... redeem code is halfway down after clicking it.

Why do they bother making Steam alternatives?

neither uplay nor origin are any competition for steam, their inferior in ever way, the only reason to even use them is the only reason to get a console, exclusive titles.

Actually at least origin has a few advantages over steam. Steam is still generally better, but origin has this nice thing where it does its "first time setup" right after downloading the game, instead of when you first start it. Origin also seem to be a tad bit lighter (matters for those with really weak computers) and starts a tad bit faster.

Only game I tried on Origin was The Sims 3. After the initial install, it still had to download 2 more Gb of patches before I could actually play. At least when Steam downloads a game you get the latest version with the patches already applied.

Also Origin has EA exclusives... you won't see BF games from now on Steam... ever lol And Battlefront won't be on Steam as well... so at least they're doing some things right. But Uplay is just garbage and I can have 99% of their games on steam lol

Actually all Ubisoft games on Steam still need UPlay installed to run. From reading your post, you obviously never played a Ubi game before

thats not strictly speaking true far cry predates Uplay and unless they changed something fairly recently it doesnt require uplay when you have it on steam or it didnt when i last installed it earlier this year i think it was

lol the arrogance in your post is strong my friend. first of all not all games require uplay... older ubisoft games don't... on top of that... it's one thing for a game to require Uplay installed and another for a game to be available for purchase ONLY on Uplay. I was talking about EXCLUSIVES... you probably have some comprehension problems sir.
