How many times are they going to put this game on PC? I wonder if they're going to charge $20+ for it.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Probably $10 like the psn download of it.

I hope this sells well enough to encourage more classics to get brought to steam. I'd love the old Resident Evils or Parasite Eve (or, dare I say, Galerians?) on Steam.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Not very likely. They're bringing these to Steam because a PC version of them already exist.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You realise there was a PC version of Resident Evil too, right?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

There's been a PC Version of every main resident evil game aside from Code: Veronica and 0. And Code: Veronica had a Dreamcast version, which is insanely easy to port to PC. (Bleem, anyone?)

PE and Galerians are just pipe dreams of mine, I do admit.

Yep, but AFAIK there aren't PC versions of PE or Galerians

I'd recommend it. It's got an interesting twist with the main character, if you've somehow managed to go this long without having it spoiled for you. Keep in mind that it's nearly 20 years old. The graphics really show its age, but then greybeards like me still recommend games that have no graphics at all.

I know nothing about the story so that ok, also graphics don't matter ;)

Probably won't get it. I still have it for PSX and can use emulators. PSX version doesn't even have the cheat feature.

You dont have to use the cheat feature you know. Nobody is forcing you to!

No, it'll have the stench of "person hating game for reasons unrelated to game" AKA the stench of idiocy. You seem to exude a large amount of it.

You're hating on it coming to Steam due not to the game itself but the fans of it instead. I honestly want to know what you call your post that's just bitching about it coming to Steam is besides hating on it. Go on, try to come up with something.

The reason that FF7 isn't on steam is that its up to the developer to give the okay by valve to digitally sell the game. You can purchase FF7 online through their store.
