My guess is that he probably doesn't know how this website works

his reply when I pointed him to the rules: "they are GUIDLINES that is all they are, If I choose to Decide whether or not it has been won pretty much, it is My Giveaway not yours, afterall I waited an ENTIRE DAY!"
that entire day he's talking about is 10 hours of sleep at night in europe. He doesnt really seem like an understanding/patient type of guy to me.

What you are doing here it's wrong. I and others told you to remove any reference to another SteamGifts user. You ignored our advises. It isn't allowed calling out people on forum, see chat and forum section of the site rules, please.

You got a point there, although I wouldn't call this the "calling out" that is forbidden by our rules per se. Well doesn't matter that much and I don't want to start another discussion about that topic :-)
Like I already said, you got a point there BrutoDetestsSB. So Brunkzy, pretty please: I don't get why you are raging now. The person you "won" the giveaway from doesn't seem to give a fuck about the rules. It's not like you will change this by posting this over and over again.
What you could do: If talking with him doesn't work, just give him negative feedback after your week. AND you can always write a calm and friendly ticket to the mods and ask them for help after this very week. You might even send them a protocoll of the conversation you had with this specific user.
I personally don't approve of this users behavior. It's not ok what he does and it's understandable that especially you don't like it either. But hopefully you do understand, that you did not lose anything. It's just like you never won. Too bad, but happens.

That "guy" is a douchebag. And not the good kind of douchebag.

This morning I woke up and noticed that I won http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/JcYYs/the-ship-complete-pack/ while I was sleeping. I check my mail and yeah there is a mail from steam with a gift. When I try to redeem the gift steam says that it has already been redeemed so I mail the guy that something is wrong with his gift that I didnt get it. He simply ignores my mails and my invites on steam. Im clueless bout whats happened, so I just wait for an answer and browse some more giveaways, then I stumble upon another giveaway (http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/6ya7h/the-ship-complete-pack ) from him and its the same guy giving it away. In the comment you can read: "I am Putting this back up since I sent the Gift out, but the winner has not Responded or picked it up so hopefully i am able to send to someone else" I realise that I won that game but he didnt give me the time to accept it. After a while he just answered that he shouldnt resend it to me simply because he waited 10 hours and I didnt accept it. But hey if Im sleeping I cant check my mails. I told him bout the timezone difference and the rules bout the 7 days to complete the trade but he refuses to gift it to me again. Nice start of my vacation...
What do you guys think bout this?
