Greetings,

Just a reminder that members may submit IndieRoyale bundles while they are currently on sale. Please submit unused giftable URLs only. Do not submit individual keys from the IndieRoyale Bundle. There are no exceptions to this rule, private or group. These giveaways will be removed.

Thank you for your cooperation.

-regards

Why are private giveaways monitored all of a sudden? I see no real reason to add this level of regulation when it wasn't monitored before.

because it has nothing to do with points, it has to do with intent of bundles, keeping bundles bundled for the benefit of the publishers and slaves, I mean programmers who make the games. I'm not a mod but I recall private giveaways always being monitored considering that people are not allowed to break TOS or get around regional prices by using the site.

Thanks for the clarification Loko ;) Now maybe people who were spreading lies about private giveaways being exempt from the rule will stop now...

Loko I think we either need to have something on the Home page indicating this policy, or at least something on the Gift Creation page at the very top in bold red stating the policy. The bundle wasn't even live 5 minutes and we were flooded with stuff. While I agree the 'I didn't know' argument isn't very compelling, I think a gentle reminder on the Gift Creation page might go a long way. Plus hey you don't want extra work going through all these stupid giveaways and removing them right?

Though now I have tons of points :)

The giveaways stopped immediately after the announcements. It's fine. And you lose those points generated by giveaways when they are removed.

Seems kinda weird that there are even options to give away just Breath of Death or CStW on their own.

You can't get them separately on Steam.

I assume that the db is parsing all available appids and giving a list. Even though you can't actually get the games separately from the store, they have separate appids which might account for why they can still appear separately on the list.

Maybe you should put something on the front page about HUMBLE BUNDLES and IndieRoyales?
We might get a lot less fake giveaways. ( I'm sure some people will do it thinking they might not get caught )

Also this should maybe be stickied.

What if you already got the games in your account and you legitimately have extra keys? I don't want the CD-Keys being not used.

Give it away to someone. Don't have to be on steamgifts.

Giving the keys away is against TOS. Don't do it. At all.

Hey! I have a question.

Since the Indie Royale guys said that you can give away extraneous copies from pre-order bundles, can we do that here?

I realize you said "no exceptions" but I'm dumb so I'm asking anyway

They keep saying that you can give the codes away, but their TOS clearly state the opposite. Steamgifts.com has to abide by the TOS and therefore disregard their tweets.
