i recently finished creating articles on that wiki for each game that's been in a bundle, listing which bundles have included the game so far. you can just start typing the name of the game in the search box to get to its page, or browse the games category. hooray for organization!

it just ended today. home page edits are usually a few hours to a day after the fact.

There are still way more bundle keys getting posted than are being removed. This isn't a good thing. Aside from the obvious inflation of contributions, the public sharing of keys is also a violation of the bundles' terms of service. With so many, it is possible that it could eventually draw unwanted negative attention toward Steamgifts.com from the game developers or distributors. The admins should be more vigilant, for the sake of both the future of this site and of the bundles themselves.

so if the game you want to give is under that list, you cannot give it as a contributor giveaway but only as a normal one?

No, no but I mean.
For example, I gave away Ben there dan That and time gentlemen please without knowing it was part of a bundle.
Once the bundle is over, can I give it away?

should be another one soon (maybe this week) -- watch for it!

I just use this thread. Quite comprehensive and also lists previous bundles and BTA cut offs. Gets updated somewhat frequently as posters will state up to the minute updates on replies.

I believe the Wikia page is maintained by the same people. There's even a link to it in the thread.

i work on the wiki but don't look at the thread. the info i put on the wiki comes directly from the bundle sites. there's people in both places who follow the various bundles on twitter etc and hear about new bundles / games quickly and then update the thread / wiki.

thanks. pretty useful. I myself prefer to give away bundles and games directly, instead of giveaways... I get to help more ppl (giveaway separate keys to the ppl that wish to use them and not the whole bundle with games they have no intention of playing, if separate keys are available, of course) and also, it feels more in the nature of the charity that these bundles support.

Thanks for putting all the links in one place. Definitely a good reference.

Not totally sure if they're all Steam redeemable as it hasn't gone live as of yet.

it's not listed on the wiki. i'm not all that familiar with indie fort, but the wiki doesn't tend to bother with the bundles sold on steam (like the recent potato sack reunion bundle or cube bundle), so if it's like that it probably won't show up. you can always suggest it on the wiki, steam group, or steam forums thread.

I don't get how some of these make it through when the user even states in the description it's a key from a bundle. http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/v9IBQ/dungeon-defenders <--- I reported this one before it ended but I guess it didn't matter. D:

Yeah, one person would make it difficult. But I don't know how the current system is setup anyway either. Lol. I'm going to guess a lot of games get reported and it makes it difficult to go through. I wonder if certain ones get reported more than others though? I would think the one I posted would have been reported quite a bit since it states so in the post that it's a key from a bundle, so no investigating required. Maybe most people don't pay attention. >.>

Ok... I'm gonna mark myself as a retard right here and now- I'm completely failing to understand what this thread is warning against. o_O
Is it just a warning against individual key giveaways (Keys from bundles)? Is it a warning against bundles in general? Would something like this need to be reported?: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/QTfOS/space-bundle
Idiots like myself need a comprehensive explanation of the point of this thread! D:
So... Could anyone provide such clarification? :(

The bundle you are looking at is a steam games bundle from steam that has nothing to do with the bundles this thread is talking about. The bundles in this thread are bundles that contain steam redeemable keys for games that may or may not be seperated from each other.
You are not allowed to giveaway a single key for a game within a bundle, if you giveaway a bundle the bundle in it's entirety must be given. As such, the giveaway you have listed is just fine. You also can't giveaway a bundle that is currently active, for example the Indie Royale June Bug bundle, may not be given away until it is over.
tl;dr Don't giveaway individual keys from a bundle.

What you want to say is that every page that doesn't have anyone behind it becomes obsolete. There are other places that do keep things up to date. I have no particular interest in seeing it updated, just wanted to point out that apparently neither does anyone else.

the bundle pages themselves get updated pretty quickly, but the front page is protected so one of the admins has to update there.

a nice wiki For a list of all bundle games present and past.
If you do a contributor giveaway, be aware of bundletards who will give these away in order to inflate their value and enter. Do not be afraid to ask for a reroll. Even if they have ligit ones.
List of games by a fellow sgifter. Much love to them for setting this up in the wiki!
a thread which is updated well.
Please remember, Do not call people out on their giveaways. Report them!
