Awesome news! I haven't finished either of the first two games but love them both so I am definitely happy to hear this.

Word of warning Witcher 1 starts out slow and unfortunately it puts off a lot of people. Stick with it. Witcher 1 is a greaet game and I think flawed gem is the best way to describe it. Witcher 2 however is a nearly perfect game.

I'll keep that in mind. I did play the second game on the Xbox and enjoyed it a lot, but I stipped because I decided I needed to play the first one first.

Haven't even finished a quarter of the first witcher, and this already gives me tingles.

Looking over the notes it looks pretty damn ambitious with some awesome mechanics. I'm still a little iffy about the whole open-world thing. I know it's more in-line with the Witcher books but making an open-world actually feel alive and something you can interact with is quite a feat. This is where Skyrim (in fact any modern Bethesda game) completely feel on it's arse and soiled itself.

With these current goal-outlines I can envision the Witcher III as a hybrid of Dragon's Dogma, Gothic, Monster Hunter and Shadow of the Colossus. That hybrid sounds pretty damn awesome to me.

Also no level scaling. Thank baby gamer Jesus!

I need to play this game, played a little of Witcher 1 but the combat system bores me to death, guess i´ll give it a try and if i can´t handle it i will go directly to Witcher 2

looks amazing! even though the screenshots are a lil tiny. had to focus a little to read the text explanation on each, on a 27 inch monitor. I still have not finished the first, and have the second installed and waiting.

Looks great! But I'm wondering if it will push PCs to the same limit the maximum settings of Witcher 2 puts PCs through. XD
