Hmm? Seems interesting, please explain how you managed to do that, i could snatch me one DLC.

I have the key from a contest and used that same proceedure i mentioned in the OP, right now i have this new key which i have no use for.
I doubt they've fixed that honestly....

Hey bro, tell us the trick. I'm itching for Karkand but am too much of a cheapass to get it. Already got the code and all.
Otherwise I'm going to give it to a friend of mine.

Im assuming this works if you already have B2K expansion? I know a few people who would like the expansion and arent willing to pay for it :S

Also do you get a key or is it giftable through Origin?

You get a key in your inbox from Sapphire, looks like this:
You selected Get Back to Karkand DLC for free with the purchase of Battlefield™ 3! from SAPPHIRE Select Club’s Free Promotions page.
Your product code is: *****
Follow these steps to redeem your code:
Go to http://store.origin.com/ and add the PC downloadable version of Battlefield 3™ to your order.
Enter your code in the Promo Code field and click "Apply"; a complimentary downloadable copy of Back to Karkand will be added to your order.
Complete your purchase.

You mean "this works if you already have BF3?" otherwise i can't think of anyone wanting to get the expansion twice...

I was hoping to pass on the expansion (kinda like Steam gift) to someone who wants it. I can tell them the steps instead.

Then wait a bit, i'll make a giveaway in the forums if i can.

It worked like a charm, you made my bro a happy soul, thanks!

You still get a key, since the sapphire site does not check if you already have the game or not.

Thanks for the info :)
If anyone has a spare code, I would be very grateful :)

i own an old 3870, and i can say that this method is working :D .
Edit : it is working, but i'm waiting for confirmation email from origin.
P.S : i got BF3 for free (as an apology from EA :D ), and now i got the expansion pack for free :D , it seems everything BF related is free for me :D .

here
To get it you gotta have a Gold account, which is gotten once you register a sapphire product in their website.
Lurking around my bedroom i found a good old ATI 4850, still working, so i used that one. Too bad i already got the DLC from a contest....
Edit: According to the sapphire site, it only works with new purchases of Battlefield 3, i managed to prove otherwise :)
EDIT2: Since you're asking, i managed to prove it otherwise by doing the next thingies:
Log in Origin through their website
Add B2K to the cart
Add Battlefield 3 to the cart, it should say you already have it
Put the code in, the price of B2K should go to 0$
Remove BF3 from the cart.
"BUY" :D
EDIT3: Still working with the method i mentioned earlier, if i get a response from support on these days i'll put it up for a giveaway, if not, i'll make a giveaway here on the forums.
