GTA Vice City Taken off Steam?

During summer sale on steam I bought whole gta pack (gta, gta II/III/VC/SA IV and DLC to GTA IV) for only 7.5€. Next day It was @ the price of 15€ and only GTA IV with DLC had the price of 7.5€

I'm playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (aka GTA SA) on Windows 8 Release Preview and it works fine. It isn't the Steam version though. I also have a Vice City CD, but it broke before I even could try it >:O

Don't be ridiculous. They still haven't removed any games that aren't compatible with Vista/7. Besides, I'd be surprised if Win8 gets over 15% usage in the Steam survey before being replaced.

You can never run out of digital copies. That would only maybe be the case if they worked with keys, which they do not.

You could never buy GTA1 or 2 on steam, you only got them through bundles. This is because Rockstar released GTA1 and 2 for free on their website years ago. They were just there so that the "Complete" or "Classics" bundles were functionally complete (Minus London 1961 and 1969, of course.)

Check Zombie Driver that got removed to have Zombie Driver HD in store. If they're planning to release a new version it would make sense to remove the old one, otherwise I don't see why we still have GTA 3 and San Andreas but no Vice City.

The only other logical reason would be some rights problem, but I am not aware of such in the case of Vice City.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD wasn't removed to add the HD version.

It would make sense to announce a new version before removing it from everywhere as well, which they haven't.

I'll quote and bold it again.."This upcoming version will bring the full experience to mobile devices". There is no reason they wouldn't announce a PC version if it was to be released.

It's been removed from multiple digital download services.

We're either getting an unannounced PC update as well or there are some licensing issues that arose in light of them updating it for the mobile devices.
