Disney has done well by Marvel - I'm hopeful they'll do the same here! Plus less George Lucas being a utter wookie fucker. I mean, just watch Howard the Duck and those two Ewok TV-Movies. I don't know how we all didn't predict the prequel fuck-up right there.

Not going to happen after The Old Republic was such a flop. EA has moved away from single-player almost completely.

Well I imagine EA owning the rights to the Old Republic universe might mandate their involvement.
That said I would love to see Obsidian go back and make a Knights of the Old Republic III. The second one, although unfinished and lacking polish, was so much better than that Bioware trash which was the first one.

I'm actually kind of happy about this. Not that I'm overly optimistic about what Disney will do with the franchise, but I'll take an unknown, probably crappy quantity over a known, definitely crappy quantity.
This also means Disney owns the Star Wars video game franchises. Quick, someone convince them to resurrect KOTOR as a single-player RPG series!

I agree, bring back KOTOR!!! But I am kind of afraid of Disney being in charge, Lucas is still the creative director (something like that) so they will talk to him before they screw it all up...

With all respect to KOTOR fans and the game itself, FUCK KOTOR. What we need is a new 3rd person shooter action Star Wars game like Jedi Academy, imho, the best SW game ever made.
But yes, bring back KOTOR, but after Jedi Knight IV

Lol! I actually haven't played any of them but I have seen my friend play KOTOR and Jedi Academy, I am not sure which one I like more... I want another Battlefront or Republic Commando...

Shit I always forget about Republic Commando, lovely fast paced shooter with a good plot. Alright, let's hope they bring Republic Commando 2, Battlefront III, KOTOR 3 and Jedi Knight IV!

Hell Ya!!! I still have yet to play RC... Hey someone wanna make a giveaway?

TOR is owned and operated by Electronic Arts, not by LucasArts. Disney just bought Lucasfilm, the parent company of LucasArts. Further, EA owns the rights to the Old Republic part of the Star Wars universe. So they can basically do whatever they want with The Old Republic, while Disney can do absolutely nothing.

The problem with bringing the movies back is the actors are ancient... That's what sucked about the Indiana Jones movie that never happened was Harrison Ford is old as heck, Mark Hamill looks awful in his old age and Fisher is getting there. The only characters that never change are R2 and C-3PO, they are in the suits so they can't change...

If they reboot it with Shia TheBeef as Luke Skywalker I'm going to TEAR THIS MOTHERFUCKER DOWN TO THE GROUND. AND ON YOUR HEAD BE IT, KATHLEEN KENNEDY AND GEORGE LUCAS!
