Has it been proven that those who comment stand a greater chance of winning than those that do not?
I generally refrain from commenting with the belief that not many people read the comments. I'd rather finally win a game and be able to say a more personal thank you than saying a thank you that will possibly go unheard.

I willingly admit I'm a horrible one when it comes to commenting on giveaways. I typically avoid thanks spam if possible and try to come up with something lighthearted to respond to the person giving away the gift. This is usually made easier if there is a topic or question in the description.
