Sword of the Stars II: Lords of Winter is the full stand-alone follow-up to the hit 4X-styled Sword of the Stars franchise.

Sword of the Stars 2 was released prematurely and was a Bugfest and almost unplayable but matured after months of patches and community feedback to an almost worthy sequel to Sword of the Stars. Don't let the stupid Metacritic(yes Metacritic sucks) , which pretty much only shows how bad the game "was" at release, deter you from entering and loving the game.
