I played Beach Bounce for like 5 or 10 minutes the other night. Might manage to crawl through it for your bad review requirement, but at least on its face it seems to be better than Gender Bender DNA Twister Extreme. From what I've seen, that's the undisputed champion of "most poorly written Steam VN".

I'd call Beach Bounce the worst English in a Steam visual novel I've ever read. :) There's a bunch of fan-translated or machine-translated nonsense, but that sort of thing typically isn't on Steam... :)
And it didn't seem like the usual "English is my third language" sort of bad English, it seemed like the "Native English speaker who never saw a book" sort of bad English. :)
I don't understand how a visual novel can have poor spelling - you're writing it on a computer! Use the spell check! It's right there! :)

Meh... i don't like pure VNs at all. I have done only one, cause of my type of art.
But i like VNs mixed with interesting gameplay. Especially long runners RPGs.

Thanks. Seems I can read too. I've played a few VNs on PC. Some were for 'scientific' research. Recently tried Loren the Amazon Princess and enjoyed it. The writing is a little weak, but overall enjoyable. Also Long Live the Queen was pretty excellent, even though I can't make it to the end. Why did I enter this giveaway? Would have written a review but not level 3 and have only played 1 "visual novel" on Steam (My first trip to Japan).
Katawa Shoujo and Oreimo PSP aren't on Steam sadly and I hate spending money on censored sh*t (e.g.If my heart had wings).

I dunno, it seems like these reviews are just phoning it in, even more than these Beach Bounce developers did... :) I only played a couple hours of Long Live the Queen, but the little I'd seen looked interesting... Like a puzzle game, maybe.
