The Story:

(11/14)

The light stings your eyes like small paper cuts. You blink and you squint to help focalize, but even through the light-traced blur that veils your sight, you see enough to be hollowed of hope. The outside proves to be yet another enclosure, bordered off by an imbroglio of fences and barbed wire and metal stakes that stretch out for acres. Snow clads the ground, or is that ash? It's hard to tell. Pine trees are levelled to the ground, probably to build some of the kennels and barracks that-- Let it sink through. Barracks? Kennels? This is penal colony, capacious enough to hold captive a hideous amount of hostages. Unfortunates, like yourself. And there are plenty of them there. Meagre people of all ilk stand around, dressed in black-and-white-striped rags. Some too young to run, some too old to stand. They're a sea of careworn faces, all of them staring at you with expectation.

Stare back at them? >

Personal note:

I'm still going through the first Resident Evil Revelations, but I'm only finding it so-so. The writing especially makes me cringe, even by Resident Evil's standards, so I'll leave this game in your care.

Question:

Spelunking or deep-sea diving: which do you prefer?

In terms of diving, I've only ever done an initiation in a public swimming pool so I guess mine would be spelunking. A proper rappel into a cave, crawling through water beds on hands and feet, slipping through very cramped spaces, etc... I only did it once so far, in a rather large group of about ten people, and I still managed to get separated and lost for a short while! Took a wrong turn and ended up in a dead end. It was a rather panicky moment, but I just retraced my steps and ended up back in the group.

Thx

I've never tried either, but I think deep-sea diving would scare the crap out of me. Fear of the unknown, dark, and underwater and all that lol

Never tried any of them but I don't think I'd choose one - both seem to be too scary

I can't swim, but even if I could I don't think I would decide to try either.

I don't like narrow spaces so i guess speluking is not for me. But i really like to dive someday. It's been on my mind for a quite time.
