It would appear from the store page that you can't buy the game by itself anymore, just as part of a trilogy pack that costs $80. Steam Gifts (or any other site using Steam's API) will see that and take it as the point value since it's the first price on the page.

You can still buy The Witcher solo, so it's not that case.

Not on Steam, from the US, with that app ID you can't, and that's what Steam Gifts is looking at. See for yourself. That package also shows N/A as the price for the Witcher when you click through..

It's really odd. SteamDB shows regular prices, but it doesn't show as available in the US or EU. Last time I talked with DeltaBladeX in a chat, he mentioned it still shows up for him normally in NZ store.

I'm guessing SteamDB's price values are cached and this happened very recently. If you look down you'll see that the store widget thingy has actually pulled the Trilogy Pack information instead of the Witcher, since as mentioned it'll just grab the first thing on the page.

You're right. I'm not in US region. In my region, I can still buy The Witcher solo.

Unfortunately, Activision and Monolith can't decide who currently owns the publishing rights, and aren't willing to enter talks to split the profits. Which is baffling to me, since PR people from both companies say they would "love" to see the games re-released, and it's free money for the publishing companies, since there are no new development costs to worry about (the company that wanted to port it to Steam was going to do so for free, for a small portion of the Steam sales profit).
