Thanks for the puzzle, somehow I expected to get the name of the cake directly from the deciphering. So even a frustrated look through cake lists following the "unsuccessfull" deciphering didn't give me an answer but only too much appetite. Can you imagine coming back from the kitchen some hours later after eating some tiramisu (my favorite cake too) and looking again at my notes?
On another note: I'm sorry for your loss and misfortune in having such a neighbour.
Well technically for this cipher the row numbers should match the missing column numbers from the first row, so 2 and 6 in your case not 2 and 3. This is so during deciphering one knows that instead of taking Xth letter from the first row (that is missing) you should go to Xth row instead and use next digit from the cypher on that row.
But I guess, who cares if it turned out ok in the end (mainly because you didn't concatenate the cipher).

If is this one it's correct, you can place any numbers you want has row indicator, even letters.
I put 2 and 3 because I love the number 23, the wiki is just an example.
