You don't have this game in your inventory and it's against the rules to give away Rockstar keys on this site. You do realize that by creating this giveaway you agreed to buy the Steam version of this game and give it to the winner? Cheers.

I just want to ask you how do you know if someone have (or don't have) game in inventory and can you tell me what games i have in my inventory? Do you use some script to go around steam protection or i missing something? I know my friends can't see my gift game but can see cards, coupons, background and emoticon.

Because you can see his inventory, it's public. Here. Also, I'm not calling out, I'm just making a clarification. I never wrote that it was a "fake giveaway". I just pointed out some things from FAQ which is allowed. Have a problem? Take it with mods. Report me.

You can set your inventory public but hide the gifts

Did you just call me an "ungrateful noob"? Wow, that's rich. You're pretty new to this site so I can understand it tho lol.
Also, you may want to notice that the guy giving away this GTA V already had one giveaway running for Surgeon Simulator and he did not deliver it to the winner. But he will deliver GTA V, sure, sure.
After being on this site for a while you'll notice it's very easy to spot fake giveaways and after a while it will get annoying. You've been here for only a month so far so it doesn't bother you yet but after a few years it will, trust me.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah it does seem like a fake giveaway!
Comment has been collapsed.
You should not call out like that with no real proof to back it up,there inventory could be private so nobody knows they have anything.
Other then you not seeing the game in there inventory there is nothing else that points to this being fake, you will just have to take the chance just like any other game..
Why do so many call out on this but never question a bundle game that may be a key and in fact the person may not have it you have know way of knowing other then them saying they have the game.

Well you got me on not checking his inventory...
It may not be be a direct call out but just pointing to the F.A.Q. and rules shows you think it may be fake and so are passing judgement...
If you read the F.A.Q...
We typically allow all giveaways to run their course without judgement, and allow the giveaway creator a fair chance to prove themselves and to come through with the gift in the end. An exception is when the giveaway creator enters a description that clearly states the giveaway is fake, or if the description illustrates a lack of understanding of how the giveaway system works
In the end this person may decide to buy it on demand or have it ready or whatever, and while some may think it is or is not fake,i see no real proof yet about it being fake, but people can still decide for themselves if they want to use there points for it.
This thing with pointing the rules an such to anyone new that you may think is doing a fake GA or may not understand the rules does not bold well for those who really are giving the game away. They may take this as a hostile community who passes judgement before someone can prove themselves to be telling the truth.

Like I said - what I did was perfectly acceptable. I've been on this site three times longer than you did so I know what is and what is not acceptable. And if you think otherwise you can take it up with mods on the site. Wanna bet that I won't get banned? Which will in turn mean I'm right and such behavior (a couple of words to clear the confusion, if there ever was one) is acceptable.
Comment has been collapsed.
Who said anything about being banned,i also admitted it might have not been a direct call out, hence admitting i was wrong on that part...
All i was saying all people should get a fair chance at proving the game is not fake..unless enough proof is pointed that it is not,and not being in the inventory is just not enough.
So you have been on the site longer then me and some makes you above me in knowing how things work? lol
The fact is you still pointed to the rules implying you think it may be a fake GA,other wise there would be no need to point to it,if you did not think so.I do not see you pointing out the rules to anyone who is new to GA's.
Ony to those you think are breaking rules otherwise you would been doing to all new people to GA's not just pick and choose.
I was just trying to say is you should give them a chance to prove it is not, just because it not in there inventory does not mean it is fake, but you still felt the need to point to the rules...but yet say you did nothing wrong sure you may have not broke rules, but i still think you should give them a fair chance. And i still think it is a way of calling out, just hiding behind the not direct aspect.Anyhow i just said imo..but i guess you will take that as me saying you where wrong and you are breaking rules.
You just want to be right lol,i know your type...you more hell bent on being right then to see the big picture..
And that was give everyone who creates a GA a fair chance to prove it is not fake, unless they leave comments that clearly show it wrong or fake. You pointing to rules implies you think it might be fake, but hide behind the fact that your not directly calling it a fake "just implying" it may be by referencing the rules.
All well you win,you are right, you are wise and smarter then me,you have been on the site longer then me,you win...now you can go on your marry business of being right I never mentioned about reporting you to start with, and never intended to,so there you go again getting the horse ahead of the carriage.
Comment has been collapsed.
"You know my type"? You don't know a single thing about me or to which type of people I belong to, buddy.
I don't have to be right. In fact, you may be right. I really don't care. It's just a damn comment which can be deleted and you wrote a whole essay about the issue. Let's just leave it be. And you're right if you want to be. Okay?
Maybe you even are right. But you make it to be a bigger issues than it really is.
Comment has been collapsed.
Fair enough..but you passed judgement to me,so i returned the favor by saying i know your type, the same as you did to me about knowing more about how this site works on the basis of being here longer.

Allright, it's all good :)

There is an option that allows you to have your inventory public but to hide gifts only. You can check my inventory, you will be able to see my cards, but no gifts, and I assure you that I do have gifts in my inventory. And assuming the creator really doesn't have a gift in his inventory, that doesn't mean he can't get one after the giveaway ends and send it directly to the winner without the gift ever going through the inventory.
Bottom line is, you can't be sure about this and comments like that are just playing with fire.

"Other then you not seeing the game in their inventory there is nothing else that points to this being fake?"
If you click on the users steamgifts profile you can see that he/she has never given a game away and a week ago had a giveaway where the person who won marked as "Not Received" that is probably the biggest clue that this is fake.
Comment has been collapsed.
That "Not Received" was marked after i posted my comment..so unless i can see the future ...then that had little to do with my comment at the time...
I did you know look at there GA and profile..so there is another assumption i did not,you are late to this post ...the thing about assumptions is they have a way of ending with your foot in your mouth..
My point was just because it is not in there inventory does not just automatically mean it is a fake GA,when i use to do more trading i kept most of my gifts on my alt account, and if i had to i would hide my gifts in inventory, and sometimes i would buy on demand, and be called a scammer because they could not see it in my inventory.
In the end i was not here to debate if this was a fake GA or not,but to say it best to let it ride its course,i have seen countless times people post stuff like this in a GA to find out it was real and the person did give the game, despite people assuming it was not just based on something as simple as say not in the inventory or it is a AAA game, first GA,it must be fake, nobody does that.
In the end...until the GA ends all you can do is make assumptions of it being fake,in the end it should be each person choice of if they want enter, and should not be up to random people to point to rules and try be the internet police without full proof it is fake.
Comment has been collapsed.
I did not assume anything. I was reading the comments and saw a statement about nothing pointing to it being fake.
I saw something that is a hint that it is a fake giveaway so I decided to share that information. That was all I was doing. Just sharing information I saw.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well the way you quoted and i read it,to me it seemed like you where pointing to the profile like i did not read it or know about it,so it made it seem like you assumed i did not...
I may have mist took what you meant..fair enough...still...in the end we will see if it is fake or not...not that it matters to me since i did not enter.

Why is it against rules to send Rockstar keys?
