can I enter if I only own the base game without any DLC?

Ahhh! The portal took us to WW2? Where's my next stop? It can't be much worse than this...

Enormously loud noises was the first thing you noticed after the portal behind you closed with a flash. You were in some kind of hole in the ground, pit maybe. Quite muddy so you had to crawl a little to look out on what surrounds you and find all the sources of the explosions as you already figured out. That first thought didn't made you optimistic.
The horizon was full of wrecked tanks but more terrifying were those who were still on the run... Over your head just flew two planes, one chasing another. You landed in the middle of the panzer battle.
Out of the frying-pan into the fire... That quick thought was last thing before shots in your position made you jump back to your trench.

........ 7 8 9 10 11 12 SPLASH!! I have landed!! It seems to have ended in a big pond or lake you are not sure all you know is all you can feel is water everywhere and cannot touch the bottom. You see what looks like a light a ways of in the distance. Having no choice you decide to start swimming toward the light or could that be a portal??
