Day 14
Fourteenth lesson learnt: Trust, but verify.
There are many situations in which you might hesitate about trusting someone or not. And some of these situations might result in important consequences for you. When things like this happen, the best solution is to trust the other one, and take what the other says as the truth, but try to check if it's really true or not. Maybe this method comes from a scientific mind, like an impulse to try to prove that everything you know is true, but it can save you some bad times. There are lots of examples of these situations, and I'm sure that everyone can think of a situation in which he's had to trust somebody in order to get somewhere, get some information, advice, etc. So here's the thing: take the other one's words as true ones, but don't leave it here and try to compare it to reality.
