Continuing SquireZed's story:
After climbing the path, you emerge from the boulders, bruised and bedraggled, but intact. Sitting at the top is a young girl in a beach chair, watching the water below. Sitting beside her is walking cane, old and well worn, but still beautiful, with a rich mahogany shaft and and ivory head in the shape of an eagle. Surely the girl has no need for the cane, could she?
Behind her is a large wooden fence, much too tall to see beyond, with a heavy gate in the center. After standing there for a few minutes without a response from the girl, you begin to head towards the gate.
"You don't want to do that," you hear the girl say from behind you, but as you spin around to look at her, she's gone. Only the cane remains.

Continuing from SquireZed
You begin to make it up the trail, starting by climbing a giant boulder at the base of the trail. You tightly grab a notch near the top of boulder and attempt to hoist yourself atop it. As you try to push yourself up, the boulder lurches backwards nearly crushing you.
Where the rock had been is a pile of crushed bones, the only distinguishable pieces parts of a human skull and femur.
You began to think "was I not the first to be sent through that portal?" After contemplating this for several seconds you began your hike to the cliff again, this time making sure that the rocks are stable before you climb them.

And one day I met a female bear named Violett, and she was pink.
Oh wait, I'm messing with memories, actually that one time i was high on wild mushrooms and was actually licking a crayon.
