Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChartβ„’ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

Thanks to luckz for the poll!

Anyone hooked on random bundle release hours yet?

[T1] $1, Squared!
[T2] Totally Accurate – I'm paying $7.
[T3] The full $12 for me, gotta tend my Deathgarden.
[Have] Super Rebundle Royale 2019, count me out.
[Skip] I'm more of a solo gamer.
[Complaint] Really, some free Alienware key in Tier 3?!

Wasn't Bloodgarden on a free weekend a ways back? If it's the game I'm thinking of (and it looks like it, going by a gameplay video I prodded on youtube), it was a total mess and I can't see why it's up on a third tier. Unless maybe they adjusted balance, game flow/speed, etc.

Yeah it was in the beginning of June.
It's by the same devs of Dead by Daylight so very likely there'll be plenty of adjustments if the player base is still there, DBD was also a hot mess early on for some time (and arguably still is on/off with bugs). If you're not super into those kind of games/have friends to play with it's probably worth waiting until the worst is ironed out.

Oh wow, same devs gets an even harder pass from me then.
I mean, not to say that Dead By Daylight can't be enjoyable but their designwork is wonky as all hell.

Thanks for the confirmation. That's one less random tiny questionmark floating around in the back of my brainpan.

DBD was fun even when it was released. It has its problems but the core gameplay is good. Deathgarden is boring and doesn't have much going for it right now. All but one of my friends quit playing it, but they still all play DBD. That's the main difference. There's still an active community for both games though.

Don't get me wrong, I liked DBD and actually pulled it out of my backlog during a free weekend (best time to learn the ropes is when everyone else is learning too, haha). It has some good things going for it but due to the limited central mechanics, things quickly boil down to their base elements and the horror aspect peels away to reveal the wonky roots. I mean, it must be really difficult to design assymetric PvP games to begin with, but harder still when you try to theme it around slashers / chase / pressure mechanics. It's really hard to keep matches feeling like anything remotely new happened in them, and you get that sense of a constant holding pattern where it's the same old BS just different match. Worse yet is how both sides have objectives that demand they give no mercy and use every available mechanic to their advantage, which causes both teams to feel cheated by cheap tactics that can't be reasonably avoided.

It's funny that the majority of the (socialising) killer populace in DBD claim to be underpowered and that survivors 'bully' them, therefore deserve to be deliberately camped and made miserable in 'revenge'. The whole us-vs-them mentality that splits the playerbase leads to some really toxic stuff, which is a shame because I've had my most fun as a killer that practiced 'catch and release' and played with my food (which still nets me more BP than even an escaping survivor most of the time), and on survivor side it was nice to have killers that didn't just immediately double-tap straight onto a hook upon every sighting. Being up against a good Myers or a trap-user who isn't beyond making you squirm or trying not to overly focus single people? That was always my jam. Getting the horror back in the horror PvP.

Sadly when you play public and non-grouped that's a rare thing, and you end up on a frustrating downwards spiral while every little scroat parrots salty memes thinking they're funny. I'm honestly surprised DBD's playerbase hasn't effectively cannibalised itself in its effort to deliberately troll/upset the opposing team. Once the numbers get low enough, it'll lose critical mass, the matchmaking queue times will increase exponentially, and it'll die the death all multiplayer-only games get. Somehow it's still kicking though. \:3/

Deathgarden just felt way too... fast and loose. While DBD was slow and ponderous, it at least had structure and a kind of gameplay skeleton that was more tangible, but DG feels more like a slippery sandbox where nothing stops moving and half your actions have no substance or impact, y'know?

I've been interested in INVERSUS Deluxe before release but was worried about the screen shake being too much...definitely worth $1 to try! Excited to play with my brothers.

Think of the Children was kind of fun, but also buggy on multiple occasions..getting stuck in areas/achievements not unlocking. Some funny moments but a lil frustrating/tedious. Only played 2 hours of Death Squared but enjoyed it, definitely worthwhile if you have some local coop people to play with. :)

I like local multiplayer games, think the first tier looks pretty decent for $1.

-cause of "multiplayer"- was passing this, luckily i didn't.
(the only one of first tier that seems impossible to play in solo, is Think of the Children, as it "won't scale")

Inversus was the most interesting, but unsure if good for single player. checked a little the reviews and found these dev words:

I also wanted to make sure you weren’t missing the single player player options available. In Versus mode, you can play matches against five AI difficulty tiers in 1v1 or team based (with an AI teammate) battles. There is also Arcade mode which is primarily focused on single player gameplay

bought and tried: awesome one! (it's smth like 80 MB download, also)

your buck won't be wasted
