Which bundle will you buy?
If game was free once and it will be soon 2 years from that event, there is minimum chance that people have still that free keys so If they give it away they need to buy the game for any price. And If it was not given through steam less people should get it for free then through steam that is my opinion.

I could like some of them but the bundles cost each almost 6€ and it's really too much for just 3 games, apart from the fact that I already own some of them..

He did so without source (I guess Twitter would be a good place to start) so I guess there is still a little hope but I wouldn't hold my breath :\
