Factors that potentially contribute to a good profile and make a user worthy of whilelisting:
- Active in the forum and writes good comments (interesting, insightful and/or helpful)
- Level 1 or higher
- Activated all games won; has no multiple wins of the same game. In other words, passes the Steamgifts tools tests
- Good ratio. Ideally sent more than won, but not a must. In general the better the ratio, the better the profile.
- Created recent giveaways (in the last month or so), at least some of which are public
- Giveaways include unbundled and highly acclaimed games. Definitely not a must, but very much appreciated.
- Registered more than a month ago
- Says thank you after winning, and doesn't take ages to click Received.
- Untainted trade ratio (but if the number of negatives is low I will have a look)

Whitelist based giveaway: Her Story. A truly different game and the one I enjoyed playing the most among recent games. Also great for over-the-shoulder co-op with your spouse or a friend. Avoid if you're looking for traditional non-artsy AAA games. Read my Steam review here.
