I'm not sure how to add a Debit card to Amazon payment, it only lets me add a credit card.

Unless it limits your transactions, it's unwise, better to deposit a certain amount, because if you get hacked they can bleed you dry.

Don't use your main account, make a separate one and link it to paypal. Keep a small balance in it and load it when you want to make a purchase.

I don't know what happened, in that time i was getting spammed with daily emails that looked like it was from paypal (with a cc that had alot of other emails where that mail was send to), and i almost fell for it because some looked pretty real, but i never actually clicked any link (though i hovered over a link once or twice).
I know my way with computers (i have 7 microsoft certificates and 8 others computer related), and i use a good antivirus and malwarebytes antimalware for protection, so not completely ignorant when it comes to security.
Just google paypal hacked etc and you will get alot of hits, i believe i even read about whole databases being hacked

They tried to transfer about 400 euro from me, i called paypal and they didn't block the transfer but instead let it go through, and they did transfer the funds back later. But well it took a good week of calling with them and my bank and sweating for a whole week that indeed you will get it all back.
Haven't used it since, and i try to avoid it as much as possible, and rather use bitcoins or paysafe cards, but unfortunately you can't pay with that on some bundle sites.

This is a solution, but sadly I need to wait about 2 days for my card to be accepted as I created my paypal account only today, and the bundle I want to buy is only up for 12 more hours...

I use my debit on PayPal not logged in without a problem.. I'm in the UK, if that makes a difference.

Strange, when I choose Paypal there are only two options: "With Paypal Account" and "Credit Card" and I can't do anything about it. I live in austria, so I don't know if there is supposed to be a difference between countries or if I do something wrong.

I can't seem to make it work. It even shows Debit card as one of the payment options but it doesn't allow my debit card for some reason, even though I filled in everything correctly.
