If there are two versions of the same game (like Mark of the Ninja, and Mark of the Ninja Remastered) on my list, does that count as two games still, for determining whether I have ten options, or can I keep scrolling?

I do not want to be in a position where I'm deciding X amount of gameplay is considered just the beginning. Say I was to go by time and you cannot have played more than 2 hours of a game for it to count. Would it be fair for someone to turn around and use games that are generally 3 hours long when they have already played 2 hours? I could go by relative length but then I'm stuck trying to figure out how much of a game is just the beginning for each game. I don't want to be in a position when I say yes to one, no to another without making it clear as to why I said yes and no when it is ultimately subjective. This is why I'm not allowing any play time outside of idling because I know (or can easily figure out) how much time it takes to idle a particular game and see if it matches with what was submitted.
Also, how would it advantage the idlers? Wouldn't this encourage them to actually play the games they have instead of just idling them for cards?

So decided to look and most of mine I did. I got 10 with 1 being a sequel and a fighting game that who knows what part of the 6 games it is
Doing the next 3 bonus lines didn't add on much for me. My last line was completely done and the other 2 added on a couple with 1 being a game I beat but not when it had achievements. Didnt even look at the mini 2 I could've counted to make 72 but both of them were done to. I don't see myself actually touching the bonus games just sticking to the normal 48

Prioritizing has been... challenging for me. There's the great games that I really want to play, but they're really long and a huge time commitment, and given my currently very limited free time, I keep putting them off. I must have installed and re-installed The Witcher 2 at least 3-4 times, and never got past the first story mission.
So instead I try to play shorter games and prioritize SG wins, which is fine, but means that those great games that I'm excited for but afraid to commit to go unplayed.
And then I go and throw everything off by playing a long, huge time commitment of an SG win. :)

I suspect that we should be picking games according to the latest screenshot we provide, so if you add some more games that would qualify, and then provide a new screenshot, you would have to pick your games according to the newer version, but if you don't provide any update (while adding some new games to your account), you would be picking games for the event according to the old screenshot.

Haha, you know what. Couple minutes in I realized that my memories are far too vague and now I spent over an hour recapping all that has happenend before. Currently fast forwarding through a full walkthrough of Deception (which I always felt was the weakest of the series anyways).

Yeah, you do. This series is too interconnected to be enjoyable when you don't know the former parts of the series. You will only understand half of the plot, if that much, and it will kill so much from what you can get out of it. Quite the undertaking though to play so many of them. I would not have appreciated to have done that under the pressure of having to fulfill a certain goal.
However, I wish you a lot of fun with the greatest advenure games series of all time. Up there with The Longest Journey/Dreamfall saga.

Divided into steps:
1) Go to the page you have already linked in your comment.
2) Right click your image - list of options should appear. Click "show image" (rough translation into English, as I use Polish in my browser, probably exactly that or something similar. You could also try clicking them one by one to find out what they do).
3) You should be taken to page with the same picture, and that picture only. Url should also change, and depending on the type of the picture, it can be anything, but usually it's .jpg, .png. or .gif
4) Copy that url, and use it in your comment above. https://i.imgur.com/7M3Gm3Y.png

I'm wondering about F2P games. My top list has some of them i didn't play yet. I can see it's vulnerable to abusing with people adding 30 minute-long games. After all, most reviews tend to consider prices are important factor so they mostly have higher ratings. Are they allowed?

Hey all, its your local Zoidberg again and it is time to make the bank regret their decision on giving me credit :D.
The challenge is simple: Play and beat 5 out of the top 24 games (according to Steam reviews), starting today, that you currently own in one month.
The prize: 5x Hades
Note: This means I'm giving away five copies of the game and will have 5 winners.
Game length does not matter and I'm not looking for 100% achievement runs. So long as you play and beat 5 games, I'm happy. You can go easy mode and play a bunch of 1h games or go crazy and play 5 +30h games. So long as they are one of your top games, we are good. Also, price of the game does not matter. If the game is free, that is okay.
How to enter: Post a comment with a screenshot showing your steam library sorted by "Steam Review" (example below - Picture 1). Also include either screenshots/achievements showing that you fulfilled the criteria and I'll add you on Steam and give you the link. Feel free to share your thoughts on the games you've played, but it is not required.

What if have already played most or all of my top games?

I'm allowing 3 extra rows of games. That is 8 per row or 24 extra games for a total of 48. If you are still unable to find 5 games within that group, you can keep scrolling down with the condition that you have no more than 10 games to choose from. I.e. You can only go pass your top 48 if you have already played at least 38 your top games. Next three rows would put you at 72; you need to play at least 62 before going to the next 24 and so and so forth.
What about that other event "Monthly in a month"? Can one game count for both events?
I was on the fence about this one but the answer is yes. If you play a game that satisfies the conditions of this event and the other event (either the one that is currently running and the next edition which starts on Friday), then it can be applied to both. Just keep in mind that the other event doesn't start until the new HB Choice/Monthly launches, so if you play a game now with the intention of having it apply to both, you need to wait till after HB releases the new bundle on Friday. Otherwise, you could only apply it to the edition which is about to end this weekend.*

Why 5/24?
24 since it is the most I could fit in a screenshot by putting the steam client on full screen. 5 seemed like a decent target.
Event ends on Jan 1st, 10pm EST. For all that is holy, do not wait till the last minute to submit your entry. I do not need to spend New Year's Day refreshing the thread to make sure I got everyone.
