Bought Black Flag and now i'm one step closer to owning all AC games.

I bought Rayman Legends. This one is great for its price, as it also contains remake level from Rayman Origins too.
Child of Light is in my wishlist, but I heard the game is too short, so I think I'll pass.

NOTHING!!!!!! Anyone with a brain know that buying Ubisoft games on Steam is BULLSHIT. Using two clients to run one game? That's something that only dumb-ass, Gaben indoctrinated, Steam fan-boys would do. If you really want to buy something, the ONLY viable choice is Call of Juarez Gunslinger, seeing how it's the ONLY recent Ubisoft game that can actually run solely on Steam and doesn't require UPlay. Don't know how they let that one slide... Also, the same sale is on UPlay too. You can buy any and all of these games from there. If you have a bit of self-awareness, that is.

You are wrong, Gunslinger is not the only recent game without UPlay (there is at least South Park).
Starting Ubisoft games in Steam is more convenient for me than starting then via Uplay. The (Steam-)UPlay client is started and starts the game automatically. All extra work there is, is closing the Uplay client after I finished playing. I like this way more than having to start the Uplay client myself. So unless there is a big price difference, I very much prefer the Steam version.
Every Steam game collector of course prefers the Steam version.
You have your opinion, and I have mine. The difference between us is, I would never tell someone he has no brain, just because he has a different opinion. "anyone with a brain", "bullshit" - man, work on your rhetoric skills. Starting a discussion with this attitude is just stupid.

O...K...but still, why run two clients when you can only run ONE???? Just because it closes automaticlaly doesn't mean it's any less of a hassle. You still need to have a UPlay account and link the game to that. So I stand by what I said: it's stupid. And Valve most certainly doesn't deserve such loyalty. Steam is NOT the second coming of Christ. In fact, it's quite the technical mess(not that Uplay isn't, but would you rather have two smelly, dirty, hungry and greedy pigs in your house at once or just one?) .
And Steam game collector? LOL. games are for playing, they're not stamps or coins. The only mentally sane reason one uses Steam or any other client is because it's CONVENIENT having your games all in one place, in a list and downloading them fast. Anything else is just a waste of money.

but still, why run two clients when you can only run ONE????
exactly. why should i have uplay running aswell? steam is running all the time. so if i want to play a game, i just start it from steam. and if that game happens to need uplay, it starts uplay, starts the game, and i don't have any extra work to do. perfect solution.
You still need to have a UPlay account and link the game to that
this is a one time thing. so it doesn't really matter to me. this is like 5 seconds work. you need to do the same if you buy uplay games somewhere else (activate cd-key).
And Steam game collector? LOL. games are for playing, they're not stamps or coins.
so you decide what is worth collecting and what not? you decide what is "mentally sane", and everybody else is just an idiot, if he has different opinions? some of the games you won here came from collectors, btw. to answer on your level: LOL.
The only mentally sane reason one uses Steam or any other client is because it's CONVENIENT having your games all in one place, in a list and downloading them fast.
wait a sec, you just tried to tell me that the only right way is to use uplay and steam seperately. now you say it's convenient to have all games in one list. which is exactly my argument. why have two lists, when i can have one?
btw, you mentioned another good reason yourself: steam's download speed is usually better than uplay's. if you buy a uplay game on steam, you will probably have it downloaded faster than if you buy it on uplay. same goes for updates, of course.

No, I don't decide anything. Anyone can do with their money as they please. All I said is that I'd never buy a game that I would never, ever play. Why the hell would I do that? Why the hell would anyone do that?
And I said it's convenient as opposed to not having the client and having to take your games from different download mirrors or from a different site for each game. Or install it from a DVD or BluRay. You can have 2 lists, even 3. They're all just as convenient. I seriously don't make any distinction between Steam, UPlay or Origin. NONE of these companies deserve my loyalty, so I do the reasonable thing and buy each one's games on their own client, as to not suffer because of their bullshit, like EA games having finite numbers of activations on Steam, for example (something that never happens on Origin). So I cannot, for the love of God, comprehend why someone would want to run both these RAM eating horrors at once, stepping on each others their toes for the same process(and don't give me the "I have plenty of RAM" bullshit excuse, cause I have 8 RAM myself and it's still pointless like throwing a piece of stake to the garbage instead of feeding your dog with it). Let's not forget that both of them are based on Chrome (eugh)...
Also, Assassin's Creed 3 on UPlay 3 EURO, Assassin's Creed 3 on Steam 5 EURO. So someone choosing to buy it on Steam is basically paying extra for shittiness... I rest my case. BOOYAH, BITCH!!!!!! The situation gets even clearer if you live in a country where Ubisoft has studios, like mine(Romania). Ubi games are crazy cheap in retail here: I bought AC IV from the store for about 15 EURO, for instance. And that is its usual price. There was no sale or anything. And unlike some other publishers, Ubisoft actally has tyhe decency to have all of their games Uplay redeemable, so why Oh why would you ever get them on Steam? .Just to tell a funny story, I found a copy of DMC: Devil May Cry in the store the other day for the incredible price of 4 EURO. I was immediately determined to buy it, but I had to make sure it was Steam redeemable, because even at such a bargain price, I probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't. Luckily it was, but the fact remains that you never need to have such worries with Ubisoft games.

it's simple. for most people here (including me) Steam is always-on. Because it is the main gaming platform. and the main gaming-related social platform. so for all those people using the UPlay client would mean having 2 clients running all the time, or starting the client whenever they want to play something from there. so your RAM argument is invalid for most people. unless you want to tell me you close Steam before starting UPlay.
btw, i think you are misunderstanding me. you seem to feel the need to defend UPlay/Ubisoft. you talk a lot about how Valve is equally bad compared to the other two big companies. what the hell, i never said anything about that. i don't prefer Steam because i think Valve is the better company. in fact, Valve sucks ass lately. and i am not one of those trolls who do nothing more than bashing Ubisoft/EA on the internet. in fact i think they have some great games. and in some aspects they are way better than Valve (e.g. customer support). well, i never said anything about that, yet you start talking about those companies, as if using their clients (or not) had anything to do with that. well, it doesn't. i prefer Steam for UPlay games purely for convenience, i don't do this as a political statement. ^^
and your romania argument - oh, come on... you say that it is ridiculous and nonsense to use Steam for UPlay games, and that no one with a brain would do that bla bla. how can you come up now with such a specific argument, which doesn't apply for 99% of the gamers? that doesn't really make sense, and i think you know it. ;)

Last one, I promise.
Both Steam and UPlay consume much more memory when running a game than they do on stand-by. Having Steam online when playing a game on Uplay is NOT the same thing as having both of them running the same game. In some cases, I've seen the client actually eat up more RAM than the actual game process, which is fucking pitiful. This is why Steam, as a program, SUCKS.
I also said that the Ubi games are cheaper from the Uplay store than they are on Steam and I gave you a concrete example. So I stand by what I said, that however small amount it may be, you still pay more for shittiness.
It may not be as big a difference as it is in my country, but hard copies of games are almost always cheaper than the virtual ones bought from the online stores. So the argument stands. But, of course, that means that the "proud' gamers would have to move their fat assess out of their chairs, go to a retail store and buy the damn games. See, this is why people believe the stereotype that gamers are all fat, lazy fucks with diabetes and carpal tunnel syndrome.
And here's the biggest argument of all for this crass stupidity. Ubisoft games on Steam can only be purchased from the Steam store. There is no game retail site on Earth which actually offers Steam redeemable keys for Ubisoft games. Because there's no such thing. All retail keys for these games are FOR UPLAY. Gee, I wonder why. Because Ubisoft only issues keys for UPlay. Because...DUUUUH...WHY THE FUCK WOULD THEY???? Ubi games being on Steam is a sort of scheme that these two companies have come up with: Ubisoft increases their sales by capitalizing on stupid people who are obsessed with Steam and think of it as more than a game client, while Valve still gets its share of the profits. If they had some shred of decency, they would have stopped putting their games on Steam some time ago (when they decided that they care deeply about Uplay and none of their games can go without it), like EA did(can't believe I'm actually using EA as a positive example).

read my comment above and you'll understand why.Short version, because they're actually on Uplay, not on Steam. Steam is just a tunnel to Uplay for these games. You want achivements? Get the fucking things on Uplay. Simple as that.

uplay games have achievements on uplay, and it doesn't matter at all if you bought them on steam or uplay.
you want achievements? buy the fucking things whereever you want!

First, Ubisoft games don't use Steamworks because they come with UPlay and Steamworks is not compatible with UPlay. Also, Steamworks is responsible for Steam achievements. Hence no achievements.
Second, all Ubisoft games have achievements, just like games on Steam but on UPlay. I don't have a single game without achievements on UPlay. The achievement system is kinda universal. It's avaliable on Steam, UPlay, Origin and Xbox as well as Xbox mobile games. Not sure about PS.
Third, the Uplay Points thing is different. Every game on UPlay has 4 actions that will grant points. You gain points starting with 10 and ending with 40. This means a total of 100 points per game. Also, games on UPlay have 4 rewards you can buy with those points. It's your call if you use them on that game or any other game.

That's weird. I never saw Steamworks on Ubisoft games's page. But that's not the problem. If they do use Steamworks but no achievements it's lame.

Well Rainbow Six 3 never went on sale so didn't buy anything.

Sale is here>>> http://store.steampowered.com/sale/ubisoft_weekend/
I wanted to get these 3 games, what do you think about these 3 games? also about what others worth getting?:
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier -75% 3.74€,
is this game good?Might & Magic: Heroes VI - Shades of Darkness -75% 3.74€,
best was 3rd but last game of this series I played was the 5th, it was incredibly boring, is this similar to 5th?Child of Light -66% 5,09€ I will probably get only this.I got only Call of Juarez® Gunslinger after all, and got Transistor from trades, so I guess Child of Light next time.
Other games are very cheap and worth buying, so you may consider:
-Far Cry 3
-Far Cry Blood Dragon
-Assassin's Creed 3 Standard Edition
-Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry
-Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist
-Need for Speed series (Shift, Hot Pursuit, Shift 2, Undercover) -75%, - - - 2x 3,74€, 5€ and 2,5€
-Burnout Paradise 1,5€
-Shantae: Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut 2,5€
-Valiant Hearts
I also liked Watch_Dogs but I'm not paying 15€ for a broken game lol, also South Park™: The Stick of Truth is 10€ well imo this game looks like some indie game and it's overpriced just because it has South Park characters, since I'm not fan I see this price as very bad and the game as nothing that special, if it was like 3.74€ I would get it :(
