No. I much prefer using the keyboard and mouse when playing games. And for the games which pretty much require a controller because it has poor KB+M controls, I already have a 360 controller and don't see a need to replace it.

Steam Controller and SteamOS/Machines are destined to fail. So no, not gonna buy both.

yes. I would like to try it, I have 360 controller and I am satisfied with it but I would like to try the new technology too (the touchpads, the vibrating, the vibrating making sounds, etc.)

Don't have a gaming console and never will. No point in having steamcontroller on PC so i'd better go with Xbox 360 controller.

Ehh, I am realy missing the logic here...

It would actually make sense if you'd prefer the x360 controller, because you might actually have an x360 once, not becase you will never have one. :P

Steamcontroller is more like mouse and keyboard for console as Valve said themselves. Why would I use it for PC then? For example, playing Dark Souls with normal controller is easier than with mouse & keyboard, same with racing games. Steamcontroller is focusing to bring strategy and fps games to console with better user experience.

If it will be really compatible with all the games, which only have support for the xbox360 controller at the moment, then YES.

Hell yes. Valve generally tend to know what they are doing in these matters. Its made them successful so far.

Considering I don't have any controller, probably. The mouse-like movement seems more appealing to me than the analogue sticks. But I could be wrong, of course ^^

No. Worthless until games are designed for it.

I've been gaming more and more with my xbox controller. Setting up my laptop on big picture and sitting back to play has been great! I've never owned a console, so this was a nice first step. I can see myself picking one up so I can play the games that currently aren't controller supported

if it's competent...and possibly a better alternative to using xbox controllers for a few pc games when you don't even have an xbox at home, then I would buy it.
