Thought this might be useful for someone :)

Available for Firefox & Chrome.

Basically it adds buy orders & sell orders to inventory.

"Quick sell" buttons for lowest price, undercut by a cent and highest buy order.
You still have to confirm it for safety reasons.

Update 1:

Automatic updates
Formating fix for currency & hided duplicates
Better styling

Future updates: Loading indicator and maybe make it less ugly?

Firefox: Install Greasemonkey
Chrome: Install Tampermonkey

Then install the userscript from this link.

I just wanted to point out that you could use different colors for the sell buttons, IE making the lowest sell now/buy now different colors

Awesome script, very helpful i hate when steam is slow and i have to wait while graphic chart loads. If i can only set to sell in bulk with this it would be awesome.

you get your steam account suspended for stuff like that, good luck =)

I wouldn't say this specific script is suspension material. No bulk operations, no bot-like activities. All it does in terms of interation is type the price in and select the checkbox for you.

I added some code to your script to show the quicksell buttons when you're on a market listing page for an item you have in your inventory. If you want, you can incorporate the addition; the whole script is here.

BTW, the ordering of the buttons doesn't seem very intuitive to me, perhaps it would be better if they were sorted?

Tested in Firefox and Chrome, requires Tampermonkey 3.12 or newer because of strict mode.

Looks like this:

I didn't fully realize until it was gone how tedious Valve's built-in system for selling is. Typically they focus all resources on things that make them money, you'd think a less time consuming system for selling marketplace items would be higher on their priority list.

Steam Inventory Helper & Steam Economy Enhancer are two alternatives that work.

Permalink

Steam Inventory Helper sells at 1 cent less than the minimum sell order so won't help in maximum cards. In the end I sold them to scrap.tf for TF2 keys and sold them on the market.

Thanks, the Enhancer is not bad but unfortunately it hides the Volume of sales information... I guess this would be a good occasion to get my hands dirty and edit the script to fix that. :)

Is there a relist selected option for the market? or a relist at value+0.01 option?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes, you can do that.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I don't see it. All I see is relist overpriced which does everything with no way to control it.
Is there a settings page somewhere?

Yeah, sorry, there's no actual "relist selected" option, just what you said. There are settings in the Inventory page ("Default Pricing"), but I am not sure whether they affect the automated relisting.

What do you want to do? Pick what to relist and set each price manually? Otherwise I guess auto-relisting overpriced should work for you?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Pick which to relist and be able to set a + or - difference on the lowest value to list them at.

For example say that it would relist some cards at 5cents or 6c, but I know that for the sale they dropped 2 cents, I can hit +.02 and sell them at 7 and 8 so I don't lose $. Like you can do when auto-listing with Steam Inventory helper.

Understood. I tend to manage this stuff manually so what madjoki's script did was just perfect for me.

can steam economy enhancer list my item for 1 cent less than cheapest price? since i am using firefox, inventory helper cannot be used (too lazy to use 2 browser)

Yes, you get quick-sell buttons which you can configure, or you can automate the process.

Economy Enhancer can do that -1 cent thing, so you're all set.

Thanks for the info. I was also wondering about a suitable replacement for the time being. Steam Inventory Helper doesn't sound trustworthy from some comments I have read about it but I will take a look at Steam Economy Enhancer.

Steam Economy Enhancer is working very well for me atm. The button to "Quick Sell at highest buy order" is Godsent xD

Tiny PSA:

  • if you like Economy Enhancer, but miss the "Volume: X sold in the last 24 hours" information (which I find essential in picking a card listing price), you can edit the script and comment line 1174 to restore the element containing it.
  • if you want more quick sell buttons with higher values, duplicate line 1215 as many times as you wish and replace the 1 before the closing bracket with 2, 3 and so on.

I can't find the specific line to show Volume information. It seems that the script is now changed a bit and there are some new functions. My version is 1.7.6.

These scripts are doing a lot of damage to the trading card market.
By "damage" i mean lowering the prices to the point where you get next to nothing for cards.
You get one bunch of users who check the prices and opt to sell their cards for a penny less.
Then another bunch of users come along and do the same .
So now we see most cards only making one penny for your steam wallet.
Before it used to be a lot at 7p or more and maybe some at 5p .shame but i suppose nothing can be done about it.

Hi, is anyone still using Steam-Economy-Enhancer? I have problem with this extension (stop working). Firtsti installed it on Firefox and it worked for a 1-3 minutes. Then i changed setting and it stop working even if i reversed setting changes. Then i installed on chrome and it was the same situation. Now it does not works on both. Reinstalling script or enablling and disabling does not work too. I guess somewhere there are broken setting file or something like that. But i can not repair it.

BTW: i need some script to help with selling cards (I am not multiaccount farmer but selling cards from my account). In the past i used manual prices, but want to find/test other solutions as i take too much time when cards return. But I would prefer not to set lower possible price but other formulas (like higher historic price from specific time minus set value or at last average selling price) and automate setting offers on steam market. Anyway I could not find anything like that. I tried to check this Steam Economy Enhancer, but it worked strange (as i said upper). If anyone has any ideas please help :).
