Remember Spore?

It was alright, I don't think anything can live up to that kind of hype.

Was cool to customize your creature to make it look like a fucktard :P
But then again...there's a limit to the amount of things you can put on your creature so the fun is stopped almost instantly :(
BUT!, there's trainers that can make the game a lot more fun ;P

I never got to the end of it, stopped playing for some unknown reason. The beginning of the game is really the most addicting part to me, though. I loved evolving my little critter and making it into a mess, hunting for parts, befriending and terrorizing the other species, etc. The tribal and 'civilized' stage just didn't seem so appealing and I think that's when I stopped playing, despite being curious about Space.

I got Spore some time after it was released, played it for a good 20 hours, and stopped feeling I wasted 15 hours of my life.

I remember playing it at a friends house and I sort of liked it but I finished the game over the weekend. I recently got it from a promotion from origin but haven't played it again yet.

i bought it on the day it came out (paid 50 euros for it :(), played untill the final stage then it became boring. I only liked the first stage, the rest felt more like a grinding session from an mmo

I think it is a cool game until the last stage of gameplay, then it becomes a little boring, that's okay considering it was the first of this kind and much of it was like a test to people's reaction. They should come back with it, I believe Maxis could improve very much of the first game based of the feedback it received and make a great game from the beginning to the end of it.

It was fun until " end game ", when you had to do the same thing over and over just to get to the center of the universe

Will Wright promised so much about this game. So sad EA failed so badly on delivery.

i found it pretty good all round, still dont have it on steam or any of the dlc like galactic adventures though, if got the spore complete pack i would replay

its a game for mothers and grandma's. it has no redeeming value for anyone who knows a compute has uses beyond facebook, twitter, email and bejeweld.

I personally still love Spore. I didn't see too much of the hyped stuff as the game was in development, so I didn't get disappointed or anything. Now Galactic Adventures and Darkspore? Pieces of junk, the both of them :/

I love it. Yeah, not much else i have to say. Wish it was what they said it would be, but luckily for me i had no hype either.

Never got Spore itself, but I got some hours spent on Darkspore beta. Too bad the game just sucked after the early level. I got high hopes on this one =(

I got a "copy" of it a couple years ago from a pirate and I thought it was really fun! I stopped playing at the space part though, I do not remember why.

playing it again right now actually and about to start working on getting an alliance with the grox for shits and giggles

Spore had so much potential but in the end it flopped. My favorite stage was actually stage 1, when you're just a tiny organism in the water. It just kept going down hill from there. But I still received at least some entertainment from it. But the space stage was just so tedious... I had to mod the game to make it slightly bearable.

Yeah i remember Spore, i like it, i went all the way to the center of the galaxy, fighting the grox on the way to find some stupid little robot god. that was silly but overall its a good game

When I had heard of Spores, I was led to believe it was a RTS game spanning the complete evolution of a "cell colony" to something of epic proportions reaching space.

Then I heard about the real phase 1, and I thought it was cool. I was still thinking it was only an intro to the RTS, since RTS opposing cells to space-traveling civilizations is kinda weird.

But what I found out was dancing goofy monsters. I've been silent ever since... It was that kind of trauma... :/ At least the positive side is that it's so far away from that RTS of my dreams that the flop doesn't count as a failed attempt at the RTS. One day, it'll exist...

Reaction after knowing 2005-2007 versions: Fucking EA

This game was sold on a promise that failed to deliver. Kind of like Fable.

i got it free on orgin and haven't even bothred playing it yet lool

Spore was funny, but really too short. I was always interessted in Darkspore, but they never droped the price to a value worth to buy it =)
