not joining but BUmp and happy early birthday!
also on a little itty bitty side note how were you able to put the bold letters on the discussion text? (i'm currently running on a problem with my own puzzle discussion)

Happy birthday Catz!
I'll misquote something I heard recently, perhaps from a meme or something:
Stop fixating on "what if" and start focusing on "what now"
Pretty simple way of putting it, but really sums up something I struggle with and am trying to fix, and I think most of us at some point fixate too much on "What if she was the one", "What if I got that job", "What if they were here", when the only thing that matters is what we do going forwards, no one can time travel, so why get stuck on stuff that already came and went instead of locking in for the future?

thank you.
wasn't "what if" a mini series on disney marvel ? hahaha so many possibilities if we always go back and regret on past decisions.
I also agree that its good to reflect on what's passed and then move on instead of being stuck in that moment again and again

Yes, but the name is from playing the Tactical Ops mod in Unreal Tournament. My group of friends all had nite as the last part of the handle.

positive thoughts or quotes
"Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn."
That is the exact opposite of positive for me. It's reminiscent of Picard saying "You can do everything right and still lose" or Dwight saying "Not everything is a lesson; sometimes you just fail." It's a stark reminder that life isn't a meritocracy and that success has just as much to do with luck as it does with skill, if not even moreso, and it's depressing as hell. Please choose a different quote.

Happy Birthday!
Arthur Schopenhauer's quotes are probably the last place where you should search for uplifting thoughts, but even he was able to write something motivating from time to time: "Every parting gives a foretaste of death, every reunion a hint of the resurrection".

that's an interesting quote you got there, its like saying goodbye has a bitter aftertaste, but seeing each other again, just gives off that sweet scent.
For some odd reason, I keep thinking of a phoenix because you mentioned death and resurrection.
Think i've been playing too much final fantasy.

Happy 12 years cake!
Tried to ask for something similar in my public GA, got almost no positivity back, will delete now with a broken heart 😭
Meanwhile, will share this positive story again here

hey there geek, good to see u here, thank you for the well wishes.
HAHAHA i think its good when people respond, though most people will just skip the part on positivity.
At least I'm getting some replies, better than none :P
Don't be sad, I'm sure there will still be people who will read and comment positively !
Also, that article is pretty inspiring, though that hero really have a ton of courage, he should be an avenger !

Hey everyone!
As of this year, I’ve officially spent 12 years on this site - the irony being I’ve pretty much given my youth to it too! Over the years, I’ve participated in countless community giveaways, puZzles, and events... but strangely, I’ve never actually hosted one myself.
With my birthday coming up Soon, I thought - why not finally give back to the community that’s given me so much joy, entertainment, and brain-stretching moments?
So here it is, a small puzzle community train (available for LV3+), as a little token of appreciation and celebration. I hope it brings a smile, a bit of fun, or maybe even a good challenge.
Also, wishing everyone here a really great week ahead !
And to make this thread extra special, let’s fill it with positive thoughts or quotes - anything uplifting, motivating, or just plain wholesome.
I’ll start:
"Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn."
Looking forward to hearing yours and hope you guys have fun solving this puzzle.
