really crappy, childish characters. Story is actually poor and bit too linear. The game could've been good if they cared to work on characters and not make them like they were 12 year olds.
I don't get why people talk so much about the sound track. It's terrible, it's basically the same song with different cords all over

Bump! I still have to experience it and expect a lot. I was very surprised when my friend said that she(!) didn't like it :O
And big +1 for Prey. Among the games you've mentioned it was the most sad ending for me (I didn't play Mass Effect, but know the plot in general).

I still got punched in the stomach by a huge load of feels everytime I listen to these two songs:

And I cry like a baby, of course.

Really good game which I enjoyed a lot, my only complaints would be that I felt Chapters 4 and 5 weren't quite up to the quality of 1-3, and Chapter 4 had a couple of spots where the choice text was misleading and couldn't be changed (my usual frustration with this type of game, which LiS had otherwise avoided).

I felt cheated a bit. Steam Store page still says "Multiple endings depending on the choices you make" which IMO is a lie.
Unless you go and say "Kate can do this or that, so you have 2 endings, Chloe can do this or that, that's another 2, Frank can do this or that, another 2"...

There's no shame in shedding tears. It shows that you're capable of feeling; that you're human. :)
I haven't played Life is Strange, but I've heard that To the Moon is another emotionally moving story. You might want to check that one out, too.

I finished it twice (and got most of the photos - missed only three)
On the side note. My cousin wanted some unusual topic to her art lessons (they all had to make a lesson about some sort of art - topic chosen by student) I suggested her to talk about video games as art. Life Is Strange was one of the games she used to prove that games are art. (she stopped playing LIS in chapter 4, right about the time when you need to focus on the photo for the first time in this chapter - It was slightly too hard for her) And her teacher was very impressed because he changed his mind about games being an art.
But this is very proof that games are not mindless entertainment, but real art. Capable of provoking emotions and forcing players to think about it even after we turned off our computers.

I don't wanna spoil anything for people who haven't yet played it but I absolutely hated both endings. They totally ruined the game for me.

That's a neat experience for you to go through... it shows that you have a real heart and relate to frailty of the human schema...
We are in this same boat called life--- and it is tough many times and affects us very deeply. I'm sure you have developed some enhanced empathy through the cathartic experience of the game.

I've heard nice things about this game but I didn't know it was so dramatic. Now I have more desire to play it! u_u
Btw, men also cry! =)
