Is giving away DLC looked down upon?

I'm new to the site, and I was wondering if giving away DLC is looked down upon.

I accumulated a lot of extra DLC for Duke Nukem Forever, so I wanted to give that away here.

There's no problem whatsoever to give dlcs, feel free do to it :)

Generally no giveaways are frowned upon unless you exploit something to get them for free or very very cheap.

I purchased them at the Christmas sale on Amazon, but they cost me around $5 per game, so wasn't that cheap.

Yeah, that wouldn't be frowned on by anyone as far as I know. I've seen people get upset when people buy a lot of copies of games at 95% off or more and use those to farm contributer value. I don't think anyone's going to mind you giving away this DLC. If they do then they're probably not the kind of person you want to listen to anyway.

IMO it's ok. You could find many DLC here. DLC are cheap and great for gamers with lots of games.

Yeah, I noticed a lot of DLC giveaways. I just didn't know if people frowned upon those who did them. I got six extra copies of DLC for Duke Nukem to give away.

If someone is looking down upon someone who is giving away something for free, than he is an idiot in my honest opinion :)
So no worries, giveaway DLCs as much as you want :) people with base game will love you :)

I love DLC giveaways. A) it's usually something I want and B) usually 'slightly' better odds :). Example, I'm thrilled cg put all those BS:I season passes !
