I like horror movies but nothing new has caught my fancy so I'm afraid I can't be of much help because I bet you have watched all the classics + "Halloweeny" ones (like sleepy hollow, the crow, from hell, nightmare before Christmas etc).
I am going to drop Call of Cthulhu (2005) here though, it is based on the same short story by Lovecraft and made by the H.P. Lovecraft historical society, if you are into Cthulhu it is worth watching. :)

Nice train! Sadly, we do not celebrate Halloween much here and I haven't had the best Autumn season this year or the last one. But the one I always go back to is 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'. Classic. Not horror, but classic.

Gone Girl. I know it's not a "horror film" in the traditional sense of the term, but it's incredibly terrifying to me because it's believable and because brilliant sociopaths like that actually exist in our world.
The Cabin in the Woods. A great tongue-in-cheek horror film that gives the backstory to every horror movie you've ever seen. Saying any more might ruin the surprise. Watch it yourself, and avoid spoilers.
