Feedback:
Overall, great tool, I just hope it doesn't become as overly used as jigidi to make it bland, but I doubt it since it will require a lot more work for the creator. :)

Thank you for the suggestions! EP regeneration rate is set by the map creator. You can simply leave a puzzle for an hour or two to get enough energy to continue instead of waiting 10 minutes to get 1 EP :)
The point of Energy is to make you think about each check and guess instead of guessing and checking everything bluntly (e.g. the "number" answers could be guessed too easily by simply guessing each number in order if energy wasn't scarce). Waiting time is a kind of penalty, which makes you try to manage Energy wisely to complete the Puzzle before it finishes.

The problem comes when the map creator creates randomly positioned hints on walls that you need to find to solve a puzzle. Then you have to check every wall. But I guess that lies more at the hands of the creator of the map than the creator of the tool. :) Paprion's map suffers from this, way too big and while I found the hints, I ran out of energy because there were too many spots where a hint logically could be in. And with 10 minute regen, I felt it was a bit too punitive. Again, not the fault of the tool itself. :)
But sitting around doing nothing, or having nothing to work on while waiting can be a bit of a concern. Perhaps add the possibility of minigames to recover energy faster after you've reached 0.

Thanks for an interesting suggestion. I might think about something like that. But as you mentioned yourself, the dungeon design totally depends on the creator of the map, he has all the freedom with the tool I provided. If people will start making these puzzles regularly themselves, you will be able to just switch to another puzzle when you run out of energy and it won't be a problem anymore ;)

Nice..I'll test it out sometime this week. Are you planning on adding mechanics like the levers from the main game or multi-level puzzles (stairs)?

Is there a deadline for this or speed matters? I was thinking of checking it out in the weekend...

The tutorial giveaways end in 4 weeks so you have plenty of time. As for Paprion's test puzzle, it says in the top left corner how many days are left (2 weeks starting yesterday). The giveaways aren't limited unless the creator specifically chooses so.

I used my keys around Easter and I don't have anything to give away now... Kinda pointless to make a dungeon lol
I don't know when I will have any keys again... might be as late as next Christmas >.<
I'm just wondering... How about making a different subpage, something like Archive, where people could try out they skills at making dugeons but the Treasures would be GAs that already ended. Of course, old dugeons that had active GAs could go there when the GAs end too. Do you think anyone would check that page or would it just be a waste of space?

This is a very good idea, thank you! Yes, I believe I could archive created dungeons, and allow to make new ones just for fun (without actual giveaways - though I will surely separate them). I believe over time there will be a nice "selection" of dungeons for all dungeon lovers :)

You can already make one with a GA that has ended, you just have to include a link in the treasure chest. I don't think it checks to see if it is still running.
But if you do that, best point it out in the dungeon itself(start location description). :P

If they don't read the first screen when entering the dungeon, they deserve to wander about for an ended GA(if the GA was their goal) :P

Hello Steamgifters! :)
I would like to present something I've been working on for quite a while: A whole new level of making Puzzles and sharing SteamGifts giveaways - sWords Puzzles!
sWords Puzzles are part of my Game of sWords project. I believe many of you have played at least one of three Games of sWords (one, two, three) before and know what it is :)
Playing sWords Puzzles has the same feel as playing Main Game of sWords, but Puzzles are unique in a way that they totally focus on exploring, solving puzzles, finding clues and revealing secrets... AND, they can be made by anyone using sWords Editor!
Each of you can now create your own unique little world with your own rules: full of secrets, dangerous monsters and, of course - treasures (private giveaways). Make your dungeon, share a link to it and let people explore it and solve its mysteries to find the hidden treasures!
It is a really enthralling and exciting way of making giveaways! There are lots of creative ways to design your dungeon. Constant exploration, search for hints and clues makes puzzle solving engaging and fun!
Check out the "Introductory Puzzle" to see what sWords Puzzles are (and find some treasures).
A huge thanks to Paprion, MonoTheKing and Dr3w who helped me test the Puzzles and sWords Editor!
Get sWords Editor here and look through the Editor Guide to learn how to make your dungeon!
Join Game of sWords Steam Group to learn about all the updates and share your thoughts and suggestions!
The project is constantly being developed, new features are added based on your suggestions - so your opinion matters a lot!
Note: Even though both Editor and sWords Puzzles have gone through the thorough testing stage, you still might encounter minor bugs which me and testers haven't noticed. Please let me know about them and they will be fixed asap :)
Have fun!
