Man after so many trial and errors with those white tiles I finished the jigidi but didn't get the link :(
I don't get giveaway links 1 out of every 5 times then I have to solve it all over again. Does this have anything to do with using Chrome browser. Any tips to prevent this happening in the future again.

I'm using html5 but I had similar problems with flash version too (but it was rarer). I'll try using another browser when I get home. Meanwhile I'll try solving it on my phone. Yeah, I'm bored.
if it happens once or twice and you got proof (screenshot, leaderboard) you can always contact me.
I don't want to do that because it happens a lot and it will look like that I'm exploiting your goodwill. I mean you can't tamper with the leaderboard but you can easily fabricate a screenshot. If only we had an extended board that records every winner...

After finishing oriental empires jigidi at last moment I immediately started Gris' one. Both were hard on my eyes. That's why I felt extra bummed and made that comment.
There will be 3 days with 10+ puzzles, then it won't be possible to keep redoing them.
Then I'll keep my "once or twice" card for that :)

Are you using the Flash version or the non-Flash version on Chrome? In spite of the warning on Jigidi, I've not had problems at all with the non-Flash version. iirc I had a missing GA link a year ago on the Flash version, but I took a screencap and messaged Lugum.
Edit: I just remembered before I switched to the non-Flash version, I used to spam the pause button frequently and wait for the "saved" notification to appear before I unpaused

Non flash version. But I had the same problem with flash too. I'm thinking I'll save just before finishing the puzzle and if I don't get the link at the end I'll immediately close the browser tab. Then maybe I'll have another chance to trigger it :)

Ho, ho ho, It's the season to be jolly and what not, welcome to Lugum's Advent Jigidi.
Each day from december 1 to december 31, there will be a game and christmas related puzzle, and they will run for for 24 hours, starting on 0:00 GMT +1 or Amsterdam time, with no level restrictions.
The puzzles will range from 150 to 350 pieces for both jigidi lovers and haters.
It's your own responsibility to check if a donator got you blacklisted or not, if that is the case please refrain from blacklist drama in this discussion unless it's by me, and you feel it might be unjustified.
Donators are free to join the other giveaways, and i will myself join too and post screenshots of a solved puzzle as proof (as i would have the links to the giveaways).
If you thank me, i'll take them in advance rather then replying to comments (event already takes time. :p) and a big thanks to Delisper, Fluffster and all the donators and even you for participating.
If you spot any mistake, got questions or whatever, just let me know, and please bump the thread.
Normally i would have posted new puzzles exactly on 0:00 but with work this year sometimes i might post it 2-3 hours earlier give or take (which also means you only got that much time left for the other day) ifso then i will put --> in the title.
DO check people (the --> or with the clock or just think what day it is), i still see it people solving something and being a bit too late.
Happy holidays!
Old puzzles
The End
