I remember Mully, might have seen it back then, but forgot by now.

Good points, havent tought from that angle. But hey size aint everything (pun not intended? im not sure lol)
Now im realizing the kinds of data the community trains could reflect, like a reflection of the community; Quality of GAs, quantity of creators, numbers of entries. What could explain the longest, could that be repeated? Is it something else like the economy, or maybe even bundles quality affecting the overall keys available... idk, just thinking out loud.
I always liked the idea of big data (not so much some practices or actual results from it) and now im realizing how SG despite being its own micro-cosmos could possibly have some interesting data- regarding steam or the industry or something. So many users, for so many years, in some way it should be reflecting some things about the gaming market in general, steam, bundles, pc gaming.

I was also pondering the data to be found in the train. Obviously more recent carts would have less entries, but accounting for that, you can see popularity of games, but also seeing prevalence of ownership for some games which should have high entries because they're good, but don't have high entries because so many community members have Humble Bundle or the like.
And why does Lego Lord of the Rings always have so few entries? I know it just was free on Prime, but that was this week.
Anyway, interesting to see how each game goes.

Oh my i never tought of that- since i dont see GAs for the games i have (and have a bad habit of making more popular titles for groups) i never knew good games would generally have less entries... makes total sense
Now that i think of it thats great actually- the likelyhood of the winner being someone who doesnt have much games or good ones increases organically...
...and so does the chances of a bot wining.Because of course we cant have only nice things
Reasons why i will probably keep doing more GAs for groups like Unlucky 7 and Playing Apreciated. But i may do some public GA of the next really good but mostly owned next key i get

Well, popular unbundled games still have crazy high entries. :D
I'd like to join Playing Appreciated, but I can't quite commit to the time frame (was it 3 months?) with all the things I need to get done. But I'm enjoying Play a Game You Won on Steamgifts. Nice community.
And given how long it took for me to get a win, I appreciate the Unlucky 7 group, and the people who gift to it. When I found it I had just gotten my 8th win. :D But a cool idea for a group.

I got my 6th and 7th win from the unlucky if im not mitaken, but kept around as gifter.
I agree with you, Playing apreciated 1 month is harsh, nowadays i rarely enter their GAs because time been increasingly scarce for me. But lots of people agree with us and theyve made a similar- called TalePlay. Basically its the same as PA but with 3 months

It was given away for free on Humble many years ago. And even if you missed it, afterwards it was a very common and cheap key for years.
