If you could chose one game to be like real life what game would you chose? and why?

I would chose skyrim because it would be awesome to travel and adventure all over skyrim killing trolls and bandits

it is hard to pick. most games are very twisted and dangerous. who wants that for real? go live in some third world country for a week and see how that feels.
but if i can choose. i'll go with Master of Magic. i can't die - cause i'm that powerful. have magic. don't have to leave my tower, and tons of people to do my bidding.
if i get banished i get to return back after some time :)
can't be better :)

Everyone just pretends they are still a captain though because they know what's what.

LOL I do that, when an NPC says "Admiral" I replace it in my head with Captain.

Skyrim. Anyone has the ability to go beyond their core self. Hires can be utter tanks, everyone can use a potion, half the people seem to have skills to train, to create, to magic. You always start practically as a peasant, it's up to you on how to grind up. You won't be the Nerevarine or the Dragonborn, but you could be like the Hero of Kvatch and it's unknown if divine intervention would effect you (it would some most likely). You'd find yourself metagaming though like crazy and probably avoiding daedric gods and abusing alchemy/stealth/smithing/enchanting. Easily done unless you start off in a bad place. Just don't get caught robbing anyone, the guards in the next town will know. Everyone will probably know.

I hear the sweet rolls are delicious though.

Hmm, Kitty Powers' Matchmaker .. BattleBlock Theater (no, it's almost like life)... probably Goat Simulator (still nope) ....
Psychonauts (yeah, seems it will be fine). (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ:・゚✧
But it's interesting who will choose Dark Souls. Or why everyone thinks that they are Dragonborn, not NPC (life is unpredictable). x)

A mix between Cook serve delicious and Cat goes fishing in Lumino City world.

Or in less boring option, X3 terran conflict. And i would be a boron. So i'm finally boring.

You can't go wrong with DOOM or Quake or Unreal.
Dark Souls is probably a bit too much. You'd definitely need a vacation afterwards on Zack's Island.

I don't think life in Fallout is too enjoyable, between supermutants, enclave and mutated wildlife...

So hard to decide. First choice would be World of Warcraft. The world is so huge, all sorts of different environments, transportation is affordable. There's magic, body altering potions and I could have a mini pet elephant. I would definitely want to be horde, less uptight... I'm not into the whole noble royalty stuff.
Second choice... maybe Borderlands, live on Pandora... The place is a dump but it might be fun. The Claptraps would probably get on my nerves after awhile. And a lot of people seem to have to work pretty hard there, so I don't know about all that. I'd want to be a bounty hunter, not stuck working at the bar (no offense Moxie.)
Third choice would be the second Deus Ex. It's been awhile since I played, but I remember the world was interesting, night clubs and what not.
I considered Fallout too, but there are too many needy people. I'd feel guilty and probably end up dependent on Jet or something...
I'd only want to live these places, provided I could be resurrected and get infinite lives, because death comes pretty easy. And I'd need weapons, lots and lots of weapons and bag space.
You can probably tell I've thought about this before :)

Then I could join the Rangers and explore space.
And also there'd be "Machpella Dark".

Since we'd probably all be the peasants/forgettable NPCs and not the actual stars i'd say the Star Trek Universe would probably be a great place to live as a normal person. Star Wars is not bad either especially if we could go back to the Old Republic Era.

Mount&Blade Warband would also be a great place to live, anyone can be a hero there, just grab your father's sword and some lads from the surrounding villages and go out and make a name for yourself :D

Personally i'd love it if Warhammer would be real life, it feels fairly easy to get ahead in life there if you're fairly determined and willing to go out and fight the enemies of your race. Hell i'd even settle for Warcraft(not WoW, i hate the state of the current lore), life in Alliance lands seemed fairly calm and easy when they were not invaded by the Horde, Scourge or Burning Legion xD
