I know weird isnt it? Game devs seem clueless... like fps, theyre still making these since the 90s come on! Also deathmatch and team deathmatch... so 90s and 2000s! Ubisoft and Rockstar now only make open world single player games- those arent fresh since what, 2010? And god dont even get me started on those new rpgs, theres devs making isometric ones... another Baldurs gate, were past 2 already!

It looks good but it honestly doesn't even look like an AC game any more.. don't know why they didn't just make a new IP. looks like they're taking a bit of their other IP's specifically For Honor as inspiration. They should have just made it a For Honor game as this def doesn't feel/look like AC. but who knows seems each new AC game they are going back even further and more open world

But it's nothing like For Honor. For Honor is a fighting game. It's more like Street Fighter than a third person action-adventure. Do that, and after release all the FH fans will be outraged and say "but it is nothing like For Honor! They should just have made a AC game out of it!". ;)

true you are right but they could make it like a sort of spin off. I haven't played the latest AC games. I stopped at Unity. I got Syndicate from from Epic so I will try that soon. I liked Unity and the older AC games. I was hyped for Origin but then after release and saw the new changes it turned me off. Who knows, maybe Vallhalla will change my preception.

I like both approaches. The older stealth ones (even though I only played a few of them), and the new action ones. Origins and Odyssey were both pretty good. Definitely not the same concept, but pretty enjoyable. The newer games have less stealth, but definitely the better combat system. By far. I also liked the setting of the last two games a lot.

I actually never liked the AC franchise until Origins and Odyssey. Those two games blew my mind with how good they were.
Valhalla looks to be more of the same, so you're not alone - I'll be pre-ordering as well. ;)

I think they are using the name just to sell now, that games aren't even related to AC series. :D I won't pre order but i might actually buy it later on. Also i wouldn't try them, one of your past comments made me try Origins and it blew my mind. o/

Same here. I enjoyed previous AC a bit before, but more for their setting. The gameplay loop got boring quickly, instead of going full stealth you had to fight and fighting was like press a button= win.
Now theyre making this huge repetitive grind fests, true... BUT the setting is better made then ever and it takes longer for me to get bored (and easier to pause and come back), simply because theres something to do and some challenge to fights.
I agree with the fans, they diluted the IP, it isnt AC anymore- but thats why i bought origins and pre-ordered odyssey. I may pre-order this one too, just not yet (empty wallet)

Looking at the gameplay it looks like 80% recycled content from Odyssey, so I guess if you liked Odyssey, you will enjoy Valhalla.

2.5 hours of watching the shitshow and I do not even know, if those DLCs from questions counted or not. I was not able to get anything, even though I was logged in the whole time. They should have just made it, so it automatically gets added to your account, not additional second login to claim. I know, we are getting the basic ones later but do not know about the DLCs like the ones from answering when was Ubisoft established etc.

Only cosmetics but Ubisoft makes so many exclusive cosmetics that cannot be earned later. For examplethere were some for ANNO and even though I was eligible for playing Beta, not even Uplay support would grant it after a week of arguing back and forward. Click on any major Uplay game and you will see tons of cosmetics and DLC you will never earn again. For ANNO, it is even special buildings, which is annoying.

I disagree, Ubisoft gave us inforamtiion that you can get WD 2 after Trackmana part of the stream, start of Ubisoft Forward. On stream information said you need to watch "X" min to get "X" reward, so there is no reason for being on stream site when stream is over or doing anything else like spaming "!redeem" (which many did) therefore calling them idiots is appropriate.

Yeah. Some of them watched the stream but couldn’t log in. They meet condition and it was Ubisoft fail. Not all could read information about postponement of giveaways (for example https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/wFR8CTR). I think their DDOS protection thought people trying to login from large regions were DDOS attack. Stupid they didn't prepare better.
