I believe that admitting I made a mistake and make an apologise train is a better way to handle it than accepting the key and giving it to a friend or regifting it (which unfortunatly many people do).

I recommend writing a stern letter. Put it in the mail.
Now, if you want to protect yourself from the hassle of receiving an angry letter: write the wrong address on it. Phew, crisis averted. ;)

It's no big deal- if you asked the giveaway creator to reroll, nothing was done wrong. Technically, even if you had taken the gift and laughed maniacally all the way home, you still wouldn't be at fault if you activated the key you won. Even if you didn't activate the key you won, no one would have known better if you activated your key. What you're doing is more than is necessary, and is commendable!

Yeh, I know nobody would have known if I just clicked "received gift". But I rather handle things the fair/honest way and since it was my mistake I figured the nice thing to do was to create an apology train.

happens every now and then. Out of my 13 reroll requests since SGv2 launched (cannot track previous ones, as they were ticket not reroll cathegory), 4 were rerolls requested by winners because they owned the game already. Nothing bad about that as long as winner don't try to hide the fact and regift your GA.

Yeh, accidents happen. I just feel stupid because I generally don't make mistakes like these. I know it has happened often that winners winners try to hide it. Hence this topic, I prefer the fair/friendly way. :)

Nope, just keep reporting those alt accounts. But then again, I don't know if it's bannable as long as the account hasn't entered a GA. Report them just to be sure. Make support work! :P

So I won a giveaway not realising the game was added to the humble bundle. Well, I realised it too late. It was a stupid mistake and I already wrote to the giveaway creator he should request a new winner..
Naturally I wanted to report myself but when I look at my own profile I don't see a report button.
Anyway, here is a small apology train
