Hi schmetti, SteamGifts modifies outgoing links to Fanatical to run through their affiliate program. In short, it tells Fanatical that SteamGifts referred you to their site, and SteamGifts earns a commission from any purchases you make in their store. The domain in question is used by Commission Junction, the affiliate platform.

A bit late, but you can just search up Fanatical on your browser and click the link directly from google, and Ublock doesn't give a warning. The same with any website which SG is affiliated with that's linked in a post or commen, if you want to double check if a website is dangerous or not.

I think I nearly always visit Fanatical etc. through the recommendations from the Firefox browser text box (where you type in domains etc.). Typing in a "F" is enough to show a link to Fanatical there for example. I think it stays this way as long as I don't delete my browser data.
BUT: I think I really should click more on the links in the threads (if I'm going to buy something on these sites), just to give some affiliate money to SG.
