Idk I read through some user reviews and this turned me right off and I hope its not true: "On a side note, I've noticed more than a few sound bites have been borrowed from the 2010 Aliens vs. Predator, and the entire loading screen - visual effects and music - have been more or less ripped from from Duke Nukem Forever."
If thats true, lets hope they someone got approval of that...cause if not its in a no no zone.

Bought half life complete pack for 7,49 on the midweek madness... a shame the offer wasn't included in the summer sale, that would have been great!

I was hoping to see Papo & Yo go down a little further. That Quantum Conundrum Season Pass is a great price though.

Under the Ocean (Early Access) - 75% Off for $2.49 USD.

Under the Ocean is very, very tempting, especially for that price. It looks like it'll end up as a really neat game. I'll probably end up getting that on the last day, along with some other titles that I'm waiting on (in case they end up cheaper).
As it is, I'll probably end up getting Under the Ocean, Puzzle Bots, and To The Moon on the last day, as well as Chaos on Deponia on Galastore ($3.49). I'm tempted to also pick up Resonance and Gemini Rue, but they've been in bundles before, so they'll probably be cheaper at some point in the future again.

I bought Under the Ocean today. I'll try and fire it up before the end of the sale and let you know what I think (though I'll be reasonable with my expectations since it's alpha). What sold it from me, aside from the Don't Starve/Terraria vibe, was the constant feedback two of the devs in the forum. I guess that's probably normal for Early Access games, but this is my first Early Access game and it's always refreshing to see developers interact with the community.

I too will look forward to your impressions. It looks like it can become such a sweet game, but since I'm a bit tight on budget at the moment (trying to keep spending on the sale to $15) I am hesitant to get it while it is still "incomplete."

So I played for about 30 minutes so far. Graphically it's pretty nice for a 2.5D platformer. But gameplay-wise, it's super hard right now. There's no tutorial or anything so I was just trying to learn as I went along. It took me awhile just to figure out how to equip something in my hand (you have to place it in your inventory first, you can't equip it from the ground).
The video made the crafting seem easy, but I find it very cumbersome and I haven't figured out how to even build shelter yet (like how do you actually get the pieces to stay together and not get knocked over by the physics engine when you walk into it. lol). Luckily it seems like the hunger/thirsty bars are just aesthetic now (not implemented), otherwise I probably would have died by now. lol.
I'd say at this point in development, it's a charming game, but extremely difficult and frustrating. I can definitely see a lot of potential once different mechanics are refined and a tutorial/help is implemented. The developer calls it an early alpha and I can see why - it's definitely alpha and not beta. As such, it may not be the right time to play it, but since it's highly unlikely the game will be any cheaper, if you have the money to spend, I'd say buy it now to support the development (and ensure the low price), and just sit on the game until it's more polished unless you want to play and provide feedback.

Thank you for your write-up. Since I don't have the money at the moment to spend willy-nilly, I'll wait and watch this one. Gracias

You're welcome. I can certainly understand that stance.
BTW, I posted the same thing in the steam forum and have added a bit more through replies: http://steamcommunity.com/app/227720/discussions/0/846958724834033563/

Thanks, mate. Indeed I do. I'll probably pick it up for $2.50 to support the development of what looks like a neat game. Plus, its unlikely to get cheaper anytime soon. Although, it'll likely end up in a bundle in a couple years. Still, $2.50 is pocket change. I still have $1.70 left over from selling cards.

And while buying it, I lost my wallet money, because Steam's checkout process is idiotic and people in Steam are idiotic and think that I want to spend wallet money on games, despite having a MasterCard attached to my account.
This game had better be worth it, because I'm pissed.

Why wouldn't you want to use wallet credit before Mastercard?

Max Payne 1 & 2 Bundle is 75% off.
Two very old games, and it's probably hit & miss whether you'll be able to run them or not. There's a ton of possible workarounds for new systems, which may or may not work.

I get a language-region-lock on the games, and I can't see the bundle. Weird.
