How did you come up with your username?

There's this symbol floating through the world's mythologies that several of my really good friends like to wear: it's called the triskele, or triskelion. It's pretty popular symbolism, so I always see it on jewelry and tribal prints. One of my friends wears a simpler version called the diskele - it's essentially a primitive infinity symbol. And I like both of these symbols and what they stand for, I was wanted to get even more basic. But there's no name for the symbol of just a circle, so I just pulled the prefix off of the other two words. Only 1 -iskelion, 1iskelion... presto, Iiskelion.

I came up with mine because I'm of Irish descent. It's a nickname I grew up with as a kid combined with the Gealic spelling of my name. :)

I had a dream...

When i needed to register a gmail account, i needed a new nickname. I tried everything i had, but no luck. Until i noticed a little tip on how to choose a mail name. You can put your last name and initial letter of your first name, kinda like smithj@gmail.com My last name sounds stupid in English and was obviously taken. So i took the first word that flew in my head (japanese desu, that literally doesn't have any translation) and my initials. It looked cool, and it's pretty unique. Funny thing is, a lot of ppl were trying to find a meaning of my name, how to pronounce it (i dunno it myself, lol) and tried to look it up, while it was just gibberish ^^

I used to like Shadow the hedgehog, and 0820 is my birthdate, August 20th.

Made it awhile ago back when I was really into Sonic Adventure. The root was Chaos, Chaos being the monster you fight in SA1/Chaos Control from SA2. It started as Xchaos, then Xkhaos, and now Xkhaoz (forgot where the X came from). I've occasionally shortened it to Khaoz.

Always been a big fan of DC's batman universe especially Joker/Harley but I did not want to just copy their names but wanted something similar so there was Jester but how many people already have that handle lol. So I added what all jester/clowns/Harlequin job is, make people smile :) hence Jestersmiles. (sometime with or without the s)

Been my name ever since I got my first gaming rig, 01, and actually did a google search not many people have it, it mostly me that comes up in the search expect for the one guy in Youtube who beat me to it and the two jokers with newly xbox live account, it pretty much my's :P.

Jr420 was the result and then it changed to Jr_42(Just to copy my brother :/) but wanted something unique so I changed it to Jr[underscore]42|24[underscore]Rj

When I first got into the online world... My dad just got us internet that required dial-up and you were charged per minute/hour of use... so I spent most of my time at my friend's place...he was paying a LOT of money for decent-ish internet.
His username was Iceman575, from Mortal Combat with a 575 at the end because a lot of people used that name... so it was my turn to come up with a name.... first try: Snowman...474... stupid, I know.
Later, I went with TheWolf... a tiny bit more original... then after watching the movie Hackers, I came up with FrostBurn4z4 (because there already were a few FrostBurns out there)... people from the MMOs started calling me Frost for short... so I ended up with Frost4z4... worked well.
Played LotR strategy game where you can invent & name heroes... and 1 of the names I chose for a hero was: Akalon... When I became a MOD for GameForge, I chose that name (Akalon) because I was no longer a simple user...
At some point, I wanted to check if I was the only one to EVER use the name Akalon... Google said no... a guy even had a website with Akalon as his name... OK then, I wanted to be the only one... soooo: Akalonian... I am the 1 and only... funny thing tho, DC Universe Online has a race of Akalonians... but I'm still the only one that I know of... and that is how one guy gets to make a username he can be proud of ;)

I got my old channel on Justin.tv banned and had to come up with something new. At that time I was playing Mass Effect 2 and Legion was by far my favorite character (still is, and ME2 is a fantastic game). And I had to add something to make it unique, so I after thinking about it briefly I decided to add the color I can identify myself the most with (blue eyes, feeling blue, "I'm Blue" by Eiffel 65, etc). Thus I created a new JTV channel under that name and began to change all my old nicks and email addresses to this (since my old ones were really outdated and not very mature)

I later found out that Blue Legion was the name of a pro-fascist Spanish military division, but I didn't want to give up on my name because of that. So I just have hope in the average user to not know about Spanish military movements in the 1940s.
