How about no?
Indifferent is my middle name.

Very much meh. If I hadn't luckily won a wishlisted Wargame: Red Dragon (can't wait till I get back home and play it), i'd be currently screwed.

Sure, people enter less GAs now, but that means much smaller traffic on this website (eventually), and it's, well, less fun. I mean, it doesn't affect me THAT much. I have so many games filtered out (10,4k or so), that I never have more than 100 GAs available at a time, and that's AFTER a bundle releases. Normally I have less than 40. So hey.

It's too early but I guess it's not that bad

I'm a big fan of this update. When I enter giveaways I get more chance of winning since less autojoiners (speaking in terms of public GAs)

The old system was better.

More is not better.

It actually isn't more with the new point regen system. It's less so what you want ;)

You've answered yourself. Now it takes MORE time to regenerate the points, and I don't have the option to participate in more giveaways if I don't won the games in those which I've already participated.

Sorry I don't know if English is your first language but I don't understand half of what you said... however I think this new system is better. It means you have to be more aware of what you enter. Try only entering wishlisted games if you feel like you are struggling with points :)

As someone who only visits SG once or twice a day, I'm okay with it. Makes me consider entries more carefully.

For others who enjoy lurking the site 24/7 it's a bad change in terms of win quantity.

No, it's terrible. Autojoiners will continue to exist, they might even sophisicate their algorithms further, so this is no solution to that problem.

This is much better. No need to log in every two hours to find giveaways to use the points on or lose them.

It's okay so far. I kind of miss the excitement of suddenly seeing 300P waiting for me when a couple of bundles or big games go up, but on the other hand I now can just ignore the site for a few hours or even a day and come back to a predictable number of points to use on GAs.

I'm glad I got this month's Monthly, if I didn't I think I would be very unhappy with the changes; as it is I barely notice it. I'm mixed about it in general, on the one hand I can see having points automaticaly regenerate over time as being more equal and make people consider what to enter more carefully; on the other hand I don't like the entry point cap, I think entry point should reflect the correct price and value of the game or packages. I think I'll need more time to decide how I really feel, maybe I'll change my mind later on.

I would have preferred dynamic regeneration, but I'm glad we're getting less points, so overall I like it.

I like it. I realize I was entering for a lot of "fluff", and now I am adjusting myself accordingly. Now I enter a lot less stuff, but I see the number of entries in each thing is a lot lower, which is good!

Here is an interesting measure we all have access to: did "Probability of Winning per Day" increase since the change? Well, it is still a bit too early to tell (we still have "old" points floating around, if you know what I mean), but I get the feeling that, even entering less GAs because I have less points, the probability seems to have increased for me (and I entered almost no Group GAs in the last few days). It might be a personal thing (I usually go for slightly older stuff in the GAs I want, and maybe these are the first people forfeit when they have less points?), but I wonder if it is a general trend, and how big this effect is, if any.

Rule no. 1: Don't waste any point on Fake giveaway!!
However suspect a giveaway as a fake giveaway and tell everybody about your suspicion will lead you to suspension,
i know a moderator here who actively warn about this,, so just don't!! That's rule no. 2

No punishment for fake giveaway since it's will end with giveaway creator can never be contacted, ga mark as unreceived, end...
Well,, fake ga creator win this time

You first rule would just improve the chances of those who believe more in people and like to be pleasantly surprised every once in a while :-)

Yes, not every new comers create fake 3A ga, we can't judge every 3A ga that's rule no 2 for :v
In that case usually just comment "welcome, since you new you should read ... bla bla.."

I'm talking about rare case, not only new comers but also few not-so-new-guy who create fake..
Sometimes with promotion..
Sometimes with obvious description: "actually it's key for different game called .. xxx .. i cannot create it" or something like that.
Sometimes with no message at all..
Usually people say fake because they check creator's game and wishlist, it make sense but not always true.

My message is clear: Just be careful with obvious fake giveaway,, don't put so much hope :p
In the end it's our decision to use our points on such giveaway... Worth to try or not.. taking risk or leave it.
If it's obviously fake, we can report, if not then use rule. 2.
Good thing is it's not so often happen here, not like that early IG giveaway, i realize many 3A fake after end of the GA -_-

what's different is only the amount of giveaways I can enter
since I only enter for games I actually want to play or is on my wishlist, this new system is not that big of a deal
I just need to allocate my points wisely

I feel bad for entering giveaways now. I always feel like that i should not enter x because i might not be able to enter y later. Its pretty frustrating and not fun. Points not distributed by number of giveaways but by time is a mistake. When a bundle hit you cant enter anything.

I don't know. I woke up with only 240p,it's a little disheartening. I was concerned about the win ratios. Before you could do well if you stayed active throughout the day and spent all your points immediately, spending continually through the day. To me,it looks like now I have to be much more discerning about what I enter. Which I can see that going either way for win ratio, maybe less competition? But also less opportunities. I was happy before, and bleh right now.

I can see the benefits of reducing the point regeneration rates, but not by THIS much. 5 points per 15 minutes is just too little. I really don't like the new system as is, I think it needs to be adjusted.

Bots are kinda useless now!

Actually, bots are probably even more useful now since less real people will enter bundle-trash so more chances for bots to score those beautiful cards :D

I liked it so far. Games I wanna play have fewer entries, even lvl 0 GAs are ending thing ~300 entries.Much better odds for people like me that have a considerable amount of points left and don't enter everything.

I would prefer a mix of both systems, if they add the system where you get more points the more giveaways created to this now it would work out quiete well. Because now when hb monthly ends or other bundles start you won't have enough points to join all the 1h GA.

Nope, hate it. Taising the cap but getting so few points sucks.
Bad experience for a lot of users and for what, because some people use some bot to enter giveaways ?

It's slightly too slow for me. But I truly appreciate how it is hindering the bots.

bots wont go away from this system, sure they may enter fewer ga's but so will everyone else, assuming that most bots are not on high level accounts - this more than anything screws those of higher levels as they have a diminished ability of entering ga's (and those that are probably not affected by bots as much).

I think the argument for using a system like this compared to the old one is that 99% of users weren't using all of even most of their points. There have been so many rushes when you could get 300 points per hour, including when you're sleeping.
