I haven't noticed a difference. I only enter for games on my wishlist. Even though that's about 307 games, they're not really ones people are giving away.

I didn't even realize it had changed until you pointed it out.
I can't say it affected me at all. I went from sitting at 300 points, waiting for a game I want to play to appear, to sitting at 500 points.
I can see it hurting card farmers and people just looking for +1s, and I can't say that I'm torn up over their loss.

It's fabulous. This has been suggested and discussed mutliple times before and I was tired of explaining people that there chances won't reduce even if they can't enter every giveaway of one game they want. And also glad Cg finally adapted to a lower point regeneration. Overall it will increase the winning chances of people who are selective.
Best of it. It is educative. It will make people learn to make a choice. Seriously people, learn to make a choice. It isn't that hard. I'm just slightly irritated why the cap had to be increased. 300 points would have been enough.

now that I'm used to it, I like it.
I actually need to think about what I enter, rather than just every GA for the games I want most, and if I have points left anything that looks mildly interesting. Now I'm like, X game I enter GAs level 3+, but Y game only level 5+, and then Z game maybe if there's a group GA or something. But do I really want to enter that game that I kinda wanted to play twelve years ago and I just happen to see a GA for?
Of course, I'll probably be singing a different tune on Tuesday when the new Humble gets released

the change coinciding with a few new humble bundles being out (including 50p rpgmaker) makes for quite a draught on my end. usually had most of my wishlisted stuff entered, now i have to select what to go for, just feels like i'm missing out chances.

I used to almost never run out of points and it´s still the same after the change since i only enter for games i´m interested in. Didn´t pay attention if the odds are better now for me. So personally i´m not affected by this lower generating rate with a higher cap.

Even with 200 wishlisted games I pretty much am at a steady 300P so it doesn't effect me.
Even in groups I would struggle to enter giveaways. I'm not talking about bundles either. I struggled to enter AAA games because I debated whether I deserved them.
People speak of the hour giveaways when a bundle comes out... you miss one? Tough shit, it's a free chance of entering a giveaway. Plus I'd rather not be on SG every hour to check. I have shit to do. Go to uni, run a house and feed a man child. I don't have the time and I'm not angry. If I see and win a game it's a blessing and I'd say about 97% of the games I won will get played at some point.
Currently sitting at 500 and unless there is a giveaway within the next hour it will stay that way. CG did a good job and he holds the stats so I trust in him to do what works.

Didn't really change that much for me. I'm not at max points all the time as I used to but I still got loads of points stored.
The only current cause for my points to drop are mainly the "Sins of a Solar Empire®: Rebellion"
(40P) giveaways. I just got 1-2 pages of giveaways shown anyway because I hid most of the games and often don't enter many of those as well due to my backlog.
