Do you also think most of the point of click games just suck and copies of each other?
You could say the same for any genre that you aren't into really.
I don't like football games. Don't see the point and they are all essentially the same.
Anyway, at least you are willing to give them a go.
What I love about adventure games is unraveling the story and actually feeling part of it..
I'd personally recommend some of Wadjet Eyes games especially Gemini Rue (http://store.steampowered.com/app/80310/Gemini_Rue/).

Grim Fandango is one of that game that you play and you fall in love with the history, characters and the entire game. You should give it a try if you didn't play yet.
Also, Why you blacklist me? Do you remember?

I have no idea, you are un-blacklisted now.
I played Grim Fandango until the forest chapter. There was a puzzle to get out of the forest with the car. I couldn't figure it out as I had no clue. I also hate looking at walkthroughs, so I just uninstalled it after that.

Yes, using walkthrough is a shit.
You get stuck on the part that you have to move the signal? That was the part of the game that I remember scared. It was so difficult for me.
If I was stuck, i used to leave the game for a day or two and then the puzzles become easy lol
Thanks for the unblacklist.

Finished Chronicles of Innsmouth few days ago. Very good game, although there are some things I hate, still enjoyed it very much. Don't think it's only for hardcore fans, maybe it's just not for you, but I take 100 games like this over any stupid CoD or CSGO. :p

I have the Deponia pack. I like it in the sense I like the atmosphere, and the characters, and the idea... but I'm so so soooo bad at it :V I've played it so little and I've been stuck in so many places I can't even count them. I should just give up and try with a guide, but... dunno... I'm not against using hints, but if the only way I am able to play is by having the walkthrough always open...
Still, I don't dislike P&C as a genre... I've played a couple (short indie stuff) that I quite enjoyed... I'm thinking, for example, about MechaNika. It's not The Best Game EVAH! but I really like it and I played it all by miself, without guides, so :)

My favourite genre is Point & Click. I love Daedalic, Telltale, Wadjet Eye Games point and click games.
You Should try Primordia , Day of the Tentacle Remastered , Kathy Rain , Dreamfall Chapters , Memoria, Broken Age , The Wolf Among Us , Bulb Boy , The Walking Dead and of course my all time favourite Life Is Strange
I think these are MUST HAVE & MUST TRY/ PLAY category games :)

I actually played most of the newer Telltale stuff. I don't really count them as point and click.
Finished The Wolf Among Us a few days ago. It was really awesome. Also if you haven't played yet (and are a fan of Borderlands series), you should REALLY try Tales from the Borderlands.

I used to love point-n-clicks when I was younger, but that was mostly because I got the idea in my head that if you didn't like them then you liked mindless shooters and therefore you were everything wrong with the gaming industry. Of course, as I got older, I realized that's bs. Not liking one genre =/= liking a genre that has a reputation for being for dummies. And even if it did, so what if someone likes mindless games? Sometimes it's nice to shut your brain off and chill after a long day at work. Just play what you like and don't give a damn about anyone else. Whoa, did not intend for this to turn into a lecture. Whoops.
That said, if we're going to include hidden objects as point-n-clicks, then Artifex Mundi puts out some fun stuff. The games aren't too difficult, the artwork is gorgeous, and the stories are usually really good (sometimes campy and predictable, admittedly, but good nonetheless). Nightmares from the Deep trilogy comes to mind, as well as the Enigmatis games. The Eventide games were charming and very Jim Henson-esque (which means nothing if you don't like Jim Henson), but I wouldn't play them as my first Artifex game.
Also Botanicula.

The only Point and Click games I enjoyed were the original Lucas Games stuff. Day of The Tentacle, Manic Mansion, Indiana Jones and stuff. Even so, I can't enjoy those now, it bores me to death.

Point and click games live by their story, if you find it interesting you will struggle past the more obscure puzzles to see the end.
From recent years i liked the blackwell saga. The first game is probably the weakest, but it is still good.

Most people probably play point and click adventures for the humor and/or story. Depending on the game the 'puzzles' can be interesting though it often devolves to trying every item with every other item.
Even with annoying puzzles I still find many of them endearing.

I don't understand why it is fun to randomly try every other object on random places. Most solutions don't even make sense. What am I missing? Maybe I played the wrong ones, do you have any recommendations that are not so hard?
I don't think I played any classic point and click games. I heard some are really good, like Sanitarium? Most of the ones I played are from Daedelic.
I guess I need to make a giveaway for a point and click game now, here is Chronicle of Innsmouth. It looks like it's only for hardcore point and click fans, definitely not for me.
Good luck!
EDIT: I'm being blacklisted because I don't like point and click games, bring it on people! I also hate Denuvo, Kanye West sucks, Hitler did nothing wrong and Barbie rocks! I must also say I don't like to go out and drink all night, blacklists pls?
Thanks a lot for your replies, I started playing Anna's Quest and I'll continue with other recommendations.
