I got your submission but unfortunately other people sent it before you and I will not be opening more extra spots. You could try solving entrance #2 as there is still 1 spot remaining there.

Ok, very funny joke in the search of the key for the first part... ¬¬ Glad you changed it
Now I'm on the puzzle and there is a mistake in Q2. The series would have to be 1, 10, 24, 43, 67, ....
And finally solved... That joke at the beginning... I will have my revenge

Oh wow, thanks for pointing that out. I changed the question to keep the same answer.

Looking forward for your revenge. :P

So... because the entrance #1 had a mistake which was found by perrolijo and because I initially put an i uppercase instead of an L lowercase to confuse you, I'm extending both entrances to 2 people each. 2 extra people had already followed the instructions for entrance #1, so there are 2 spots remaining on entrance #2.

All I can say is that finding entrance #2 is similar to finding entrance #1.

For the #1 the link is explicit. For the #2 not. :(

For the #2 it still is, you just need to expand your view a little.

11001 in binary = 25. 19 in hexadecimal = 25. They were all 25. (25 + 25) * (25 + 25) / 25 = 100

The only elements in the image that lead to a dead end are A2, A4, B2, B4, D1 and D2. There are 50 occurrences of those elements on the maze.

Did you make them on purpose for that flash puzzle? O.o

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yep, I made 51 dead ends on the maze (1 of them has the element F1, which does not lead to a dead end on the image).

I struggled with these puzzles for days. I had the first one solved, but I couldn't find the itstoohard puzzle because you had the capital i and lowercase L switched. I really thought I had it solved when I found the song lyrics and rearranged the letters I found from each line back into the correct order by putting the lyrics back in order, but that didn't help either.

I then found papachoo in the 2nd puzzle and thought it had something do with papa=father, choo=train, so I was looking for hints in your first puzzle, but that didn't make much since because there was no train in it. Then I realized it had to do with the poll because of the weird answers and there being exactly 8 of them, but I thought I had to take the 8 letters I found (papachoo) and correlate them somehow with the 8 poll answers. I never thought if just using the first letter of each poll answer even though I did try that with the song lyrics, lol.

I also went back through the previous puzzles and tried those solutions, but that didn't help. Went to the pic on imgur and converted hex to find "Nothing here this time. :P". Tried taking the line number and the first letter from each line of the song lyrics and putting them into the chart on your previous puzzle, but that didn't work. I was all over the place, lol.

Can you explain the 2 math problems? I still don't understand them. How do these both equal 100? My brain says 20 and 4857616.

10 + 10 = ???
(11001 + 19) * (11001 + 19) / 25 = ???

Most of these numbers in the math problems are not decimal :)

Comment has been collapsed.

I'm still confused. Are you talking about the ones and zeros? I could understand if they were binary, but that doesn't add up either. Then the answers would be 4 and 77.44.

Edit: Oh, I under stand the 10+10 now because the answer is not in decimal either. Still don't get the second question though.

That makes sense, but it's really confusing with multiple systems in 1 problem because you don't know what numbers use what system so it creates a lot of trial an error.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes, but I only used systems that I had used in my previous puzzles, and I though that by decoding 11001 (which would obviously be binary) people would finally be able to figure it out (using XLATE makes it even more obvious).

That's a cool website. I tried to open it once before and I get this error so I thought there was something wrong with the site::

This webpage is not available

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Since you posted it again I decided to try it again and I get that error in Chrome, but it works fine in Firefox. I will have to save it, i'm sure it will come in handy in the future.

That's weird, it works fine in my Chrome. But yes, it's very handy to a lot of puzzles here on SG.

Under that error there is a details button, when clicked it says:

A secure connection cannot be established because this site uses an unsupported protocol.

My browser must have a certain type of security protocol disabled. Seems weird because I leave that setting at default.
