Sure I'll watch the new one, don't know if I'll have a chance to see it at the cinema but maybe a bit later on from the bluray / dvd :) Though this one is one of my all time favorites!

I give remakes a chance no matter what the critics say, as one can have 6 critics and 6 different opinions, so I'll most probably watch it at home and make up my own mind.

Have not seen it, will not watch it. I think the habit of remaking good movies is a nasty one and totally unnecessary. I mean, this movie already exists. And it's legendary, starring Yul Brunner and all. Why on earth do we need it a second time?

it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be - put it that way :) - I do think a lot got left on the cutting room floor though, as some scenes seemed a little disjointed - so would love to seen an uncut version
