Wow, I played Mechwarrior 2 a lot back in the day, but my brain totally didn't register that screenshot. Is it looking out the side of the cockpit in that view? Gosh I wish they could straighten out the licensing on that series and have it made available on GOG. That would be such a huge get.

Yeah, I tried to deliberately find a hard to recognise screenshot. I didn't want to show the HUD or the enemy mechs (yet) because I thought might be giving away too much. The shot was actually taken from this forum thread :D It's a pity this doesn't get the GOG treatment, it's still my favourite mech game by far.

Actually, no I haven't, though I do own the game and I have been meaning to play it. It just tried thinking of blocky games on Steam, and it was the first one that popped into my head. It has a pretty distinct style and it isn't too hard to recognize if you have seen screenshots. Anyways, time to post a picture!

Ah this was something discussed earlier, I was thinking of making it a 24 hour window due to time zone differences, real life schedules and all that. I'll think up the phrasing for it, post it in the next leaderboard update and try to account for cases in which two images get posted almost at the same time -- in which the first image posted will take precedence. If all hell breaks loose then we'll modify the rule a bit :)
