I got what those 6 letters do, but according to hints they shouldn't do anything at all (not 6, but 5). But still, don't know where to go from there and I think I've been trolled a bit. :p

In some countries they'd cane you for this! Oh wait ...

It's only a matter of time before I start writing scripts to auto-brute-force these types of giveaways. Puzzles require intelligent thought. Having to just try random combinations is neither a puzzle nor clever, it's just tedious.

We had a very similar topic a while ago (where somebody got Bioshock 3 from a library) and I'm surprised to see nobody mentioned this yet...

You shouldn't take such keys, the libraries buy the games for your whole community, not for you alone to profit from it. You should also go to the library and tell somebody from the staff about Steam and how it works and how they should avoid buying games that lock onto Steam accounts. This way you and everyone else that uses that library will benefit from more items - books, games etc that can be shared.

I could also have Prey, it was just $3 on the Xbox sale, but I decided that the chance that I'll play it is pretty low. I'll stick to getting free games for my $1 Gold sub. Assassin's Creed 2 is the next game, and I read some on this forum saying it's the best of the series.
