The Darkness II - I had fun playing this game, the story is okay and the game is short, about 4 hrs

BattleBlock Theater - It has a funny story and it's really cool to play it i coop, you should play it but with someone. I recently started playing it with friend and I'm having a good time

From your wishlist, I can really recommend LYNE: it seems easy but it can become seriously addictive (look at my playtime).
And it's the kind of game you can play while listening to a podcast. Also you can take long breaks and still pick it up each time (there is no plot).
It's an ideal game for those that are not looking for a big commitment.
FEZ is also fun, provided you feel like playing a platformer with puzzle elements.
PS: I wateched the first 2 episodes of Death Parade, and it didn't make me want to keep watching, Does is deserve another chance?

I got LYNE from the Humble Store when it was heavily discounted, and it paid itself completely through card drops. But yeah in hindsight it would have been worth it regardless, it's relaxing and perfect for busy periods (i.e. I can't play stuff like Dragon Age or the Witcher during an exam session)

I'd direct you to the Coupon Dumpster Steam group, but they've got none right now.

My recommendation from your backlog would be Danganronpa 2 :3 I haven't started it myself though and from your wishlist, if you have to buy one I'd say Darkest Dungeon, it's really a great game if you're not scared of a bit of difficulty :)

Oh there are two reasons I'm not playing Danganronpa 2. 1 because I don't want it to end and 2 I just 100%d the first so I'm a little burnt out on it xD Yes Darkest Dungeon would be a great one actually! But I have a few games similar to it through having replayability like Binding of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon that I need to play more of :O

Oh, if you buy DD, don't expect it to be so much like TBOI or Gungeon, it's not action oriented like those 2 (that I love too) but more strategical. The combats are turned based and you have time to think about your decisions. I love both but I think they're not exactly filling the same spot in my gamer heart.
Since you're not up for Danganronpa 2 now, I had another look at your backlog and I can recommend:
- Party Hard suits you just fine
- Assassin's creed black flag
- Batman Arkham City and it's on the monthly theme, unless you wanna finish arkham asylum first
- The bioshock trilogy (unless you wait for the imminent remaster)
- Xcom
OR you can scratch all that and relaunch Stardew Valley :3

I generally categorize my games by type (e.g. RPG, Platform, Puzzle), and I try not to have more than 1 or 2 games of any category installed at the same time. So if I'm in the mood for a horror game, well, right now I'm working my way through Outlast. When I finish that, I'll replace it with whichever horror game I feel like playing next who am I kidding? It'll be SOMA. Likewise, I only have one RPG installed right now, Legend of Grimrock. When I finish that, I'll install another RPG.
Even though the games don't really have an end, I tend to do the same with strategy. I just re-installed Total War Medieval II. I'll play that for a bit, but when I get bored with it, I'll uninstall and pick another one. I'm currently hesitating to buy an expansion for Crusader Kings II or Europa Universalis IV 65% off; I'm kinda wishing for 75%, and one of those will probably be next. Or I might finally give Endless Space a shot.
On the other hand, there are some genres for which I currently don't have any games installed, like racing games and roguelikes. If the mood strikes for me to play one of those, I'll just pick whichever one I feel like.

Yeah I was going to do something similar with my batch where I would have 5 different genres to play but it go to the point where I was picking them where I was like "this! OH THIS!"

I find it hard to finish games too sometimes. In fact, I haven't finished Dishonored either and I actually feel a little guilty about that. Fez is a great suggestion, because I found that I couldn't not finish it. Maybe you will too. Or you could just use a little reverse psychology on yourself and play a game you can't ever hope to complete. Atm I'm so addicted to Warframe I can't even look at my backlog or unfinished games. In fact, I'm even surprised that I took the time to post this as I have to go run some missions. Like now.

Oh I just finished Dishonored not too long ago, I won the second one so it was a very big push in motivation for me... Considering I had it for 2 years sitting there in my inventory XD Yeah I think what I need to do is put some focus onto a big random game that is on the back of my mind. I seem to focus on the small ones :P Oh warframe was a game I was hoping to get into but never went back to :O

Tbh I quit Warframe a couple of years ago because there just wasn't enough to do. Now there is a lot of new content, and the parkouring alone may be worth the price of admission - it's really opened up whole new ways of playing. Ofc, like any other big online, having a good friend to play it with makes all more enjoyable.

organizing my backlog is on my to do list, which means I'm as likely to finish it as I am with my backlog. I've have a few games that other people have recommended or I've read cool things about installed on my computer and plan to finish those, but I invariably get another game and play that instead.
When I set out specifically to complete my backlog and not just find a game I can have fun playing, I'll usually pick vn, because those are the easiest to complete.

Yeah I think joining BLAEO was a push for me to organise it really! I was putting it off for so long and sort of had a filter system on my steam library but it wasn't the same as it is now!
Yeah well Steins;Gate is coming out on the 9th so I'm going to buy that and play it instantly. Next will be Higurashi or CLANNAD for the next VN. You are right, they are easier to pick and finish XD

and off of your wishlist i would recommend trying Darkest Dungeon it truly is a prime example of the good that can come out of Early Access.
As for what i recently finished.. i guess Dark Souls 2 NG++ for the first time counts???

Yeah i did enjoy my run with Dark Souls 2. I might try a no bonfire run next (probably will double my Time Played xD). Only issue that is a bit annoying is that the hitboxes can be a bit wonky at times.. otherwise has been great, even managed to score a few PVP victories
