Am I the only one waiting for the 18th of this month?!

I'm waiting for the 25th, to buy a new monitor... I've been using my old CRT for almost 2 months now, as my less-old monitor broke. :D
We're both close to our date, the wait is almost over! :)

tried to beat many pokemon games, at this point i dont reconize any of them, and havent got far in any of them, so i guess not :P

Sadly, due to my eyesight problems, I couldn't play on hadheld devices anymore (PSP was my last portable gaming system), but I hope that Nintendo will publish a full-fledged Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch (or at least something similar to Pokemon XD).

I do like Pokemon but I don't really play it that often, also I have no Nintendo handhelds to get one :/

Well, if I'd buy it I I wouldn't even be able to play it, as my last Nintendo handheld was the Gameboy Color :D
I was a total Pokemon freak as a kid though.

I read the leaked text and the games seem to have many cool features. I'm looking forward to the games, but not sure if I should hold out for Star.

Waiting for the 18th for Fantastic Beasts.

I started playing when they came out, I was around 7-8, and I played 5 of the 6 Gameboy Color games, man those things consumed AA batteries like crazy... I easily spent 1000 hours on all of those games combined! Then I got a GBA and... felt all grown up, I don't really know why but Pokemon stopped appealing to me, perhaps since the franchise lost most of its mainstream popularity with the kids around me? I don't know, but I felt "too old for Pokemon".

Fast forward a decade, I was in university and my best friend there was obsessed, he never stopped playing all of the Pokemon games, when XY came out he spent about 8 months trying to convince me from now and then to buy a 3DS and battle together, I resisted!!! Well... as long as I could, Nintendo had a promo that if you bought a 3DS and 1 (or 2) selected games you got Pokemon X or Y for free, so I bought the 3DS and he bought the game(s) and VOILA! The magic of the pocket monsters was back in my life.

Pokemon Y quickly became my favorite handheld game in over a decade, it was a dream come true because I dreamt of playing Pokemon in a full 3D world since I played Pokemon Stadium in the N64! Next year my gf bought me Omega Ruby as a bday present and I was stoked but the passing of that game bored me after my 7th badge (I'm still struggling to finish the late game). Then Sun/Moon got announced and of course I was COMPLETELY... unimpressed.

I wasn't thrilled by the region, characters, starters... every reveal felt flat, then the alola forms got shown and I was more interested (driven by nostalgia much?) but still not hyped, it wasn't until they announced a playable demo, special Z moves (Snorlax, Pikachu, Eevee and more to come) that I got excited. After I played the demo I was sold, not just a fully 3D world but completely designed as a fully 3D world instead of a "tile" world, no more godforsaken HMs, now you know which moves are super effective on your screen! And we got revealed 16 trials, 4 kahunas, elite 4 and battle tree with famous trainers from past games... I pre ordered and pre downloaded the morning it was available.

I will definitely buy Pokemon Moon Moon :D though at the same time i kinduv wanna save up and buy it on the Switch because I know I'll own that console

i tried black version , but it didn't hook me up

I don't have an 3DS but want to play it :( But have a Bump. It's Christmas soon so maybe i buy me one hehe :)

18th is actually my birthday, but no I'm not waiting to turn an extra year older :)

Last pokemon game I enjoyed was Pokemon SoulSilver. Big favorite of mine as the 2nd gen is my favorite.
Sadly I can't get a 2DS to play the newest games so I guess I'll just stop following the franchise.

I have play all Pokémon games until Emerald version, that was the last one i played because i havent buy any nintendo ds console so no more Pokemon for me :(

I can't wait for Sun and Moon.
